Dip a toe in and let me know how you go.Asking the wrong bloke.
Nah, there's swimming areas along the Swan.Dip a toe in and let me know how you go.

Oof, more likely to get Ebola then.Only river near me to dip a toe in is the Torrens mate.
And you get to win 1 game a year, so there's success too.By all accounts he has a WA girlfriend now he has split from Jas?
That helps keep home sickness at bay.
Get a hot young Perth girl, and 1.8 million a year, plus better weather and beaches, no outrageous toll roads, less crime, a great new stadium and big supporter base, and one of the wealthiest sporting clubs in the country.

What's the rush?
Hilarious.Him saying he is gone either this year or next if he doesnt get the contract he wants now. And if he goes next year he can make it difficult for WCE to get anywhere near what they would get this year.
And he can spend the year shitting on WCE and convincing everyone born outside of WA that WCE is a terrible place to go.
Players wanting out have all the power these days.
Hilarious.
I think the suggestion that he'd spend the year 'shitting' on WCE is possibly the dumbest, most unhinged thing I've read in this entire thread. You think there is a high chance no deal happens this year and he announces that he is happy to play under his current draft contract next year?

Hang on, we're constantly told he'd need to accept unders to go back to Vic and he'd be happy to do so? Especially by Hawthorn supporters?Yeah, a guy who wants a $20m contract getting told "No, you just stick to your $200k contract" would be totally happy to stay there.
He is either going or he gets the big contract. There is simply zero chance he goes into 2026 without a new contract. Because he absolutely would be filthy at the club.
No matter what he does he's on the 200k contract next year. That can't be changed.Yeah, a guy who wants a $20m contract getting told "No, you just stick to your $200k contract" would be totally happy to stay there.

Could be. They are nasty pricks.Nah, there's swimming areas along the Swan.
You're thinking of the Brisbane River.
A fact lost on our Hawks supporting friend. No matter what he does he's on the 200k contract next year. That can't be changed.

The Vic media has done a number on you, my friend.
No matter what he does he's on the 200k contract next year. That can't be changed.
No-one is saying he is getting chump change offers. The offers apparently are very different though. From what I have been reading the Victorian offers are in the $1.5m to $2.0m range, and the WCE demand is in the $2.0m to $2.5m range.
It likely also comes down to the number of years as well.
He is allowed to earn external amounts, which I have zero doubt he would be getting offered.
E.g. if Eddie was still important he'd be offering him $1m a year to be a permanent feature on The Footy Show with a contract length which magically matches the contract length the Pies were offering.
We're lining Harley up to be WA premier in 2040, aren't we?What's stopping BHP from sponsoring him for $2m a year then?
"Vic offers"
"WCE demand"
As I said, the Vic media has done a number on you.
