Though in saying that considering the picks and salary costs he’ll justifiably attract, I would pass on him at the Pies and let someone else get the job of turning that potential into output.

I reckon him and his management will probably land on the same conclusion and he’ll stay at WC at least for now.

But I’ll say that now alongside seasoned A grade disposal centre bounce midfielder guns..Caldwald, Merrett ..and young Martin and Durham…Reid would be the perfect injection to add to that rotation.

Why bet on a mid draft pick? I’d rather get Reid in now that he’s worked out how league footy operates.

I mean look at the eagles midfield.
Harley is having to deal with being the number 1 midfielder in his second season, after a preseason preparation even he'd have to admit didn't set himself up to be his best.

My point is Reid has done absolutely nothing to match the hype.

Nobody would ever have suggested a young Jobe was worth 3x first picks in a trade.

Nobody would’ve ever suggested that a young Jobe should be given a $15m, ten year contract.

Young Jobe produced nothing and was rated as such.

Reid has this ridiculous halo as a result of underage football and being a #1 pick.

He’s produced nothing to suggest he’s at that level. He’s just not that good.

I don't watch him every week, but I did watch last week v the Pies and he certainly wasn't tagged, didn't even have a run with, he was left alone, I couldn't believe the hype about him, he did nothing, all he likes doing is push players around.
