HC wins at 2.30, -0.6 units

Gold Coast R7

Right Interest - win

Newcastle race caller makes me laugh. Hes the best race caller in Australia. Amazed he hasn't moved on to do metro gallops somewhere. Not complaining, i like him where he is!

Both missed - 0.6 units

Last race

Gold Coast R8

Count Charmez - win - My best bet of the day BUT he must lead. So i'll know in the first 50m if i'll win or not. If he leads, he wins and if he cant find the lead, unlikely.

Pretty ordinary day.

third, nutted right near the line doing all the work in the death.

Makes me angry when stupid punters line up to back inferior horses like Whatever You Like, gets all the favours, does no work and falls in while the right one paying huge overs just misses. Then the pricks will back it next start and it'll start 3.00 but then the values gone.

today overall - 1.6 units

Gold Coast summary on why x horse won and why mine didn't and my thinking pre race.

R1 - Buckup Buster went 2/3 28.5 over 1600. Today over the 2100, found nothing. Staartika's the winner run 2 starts back when they rated 2/4 29.4 when she ran home well from well back which was the best run after mine.

R2 - Redfern Boy just beaten in 2/7 28.7, today well beaten. Slow mile rate made last weeks run look better then reality. Dare To Excell beaten 2 runs in a row in 1/59 28.8s behind the leader.

R3 - Miss Bulles last win 1/59 29.0 from death. Recent form suggests holding form. Was going to win, then broke. Jacka Corruba last win similar but slightly slower from behind the leader, got that run today, won.

R4 - Wrecker was a mistake. Went right back through its form. Every time i do that, no good, getting cute is not smart, recent form fair. Frosbitten last win 2/1 leading... recent form not to bad, hard to have still as had pace underneath. Rough result.

R5 - Als Passion 1/58 29.0, holding form. 3 wide for over a lap, just missed. Bull Run 1/58 28.1. Recent form suggests form was up to scratch.

R6 - Linac was a mistake, same as Wrecker, tried to get cute. Viking Jack was the correct selection who ran third 1/59 29.5. Lost because of first split 27.8. Winner Felonious stayed out of the early battle, similar to Viking Jack.

R7 - Right Interest 2/2 30.3 over 2100 couldnt get into from big handicap. Brite Hope 2/4 30.2 over 2700 won easily. Didn't even look at it, form was strong, sad i missed it.

R8 - Count Charmez 2/8 29.6, last run 2/4 30.5 from the death, just missed. Whatever You Like 2/4 30.5 wins.

This is just a game of stats. Find the right formula, can't lose. Stats never lie. Slow mile rates in form need to be seriously overlooked, it's bad form and a bad guage of a horses true ability.

Taralinger second/PV unplaced = -1.6 overall / 2/1 30.5 vs 2/3 28.8 .... Close call, chose wrong, winner pays 13.80. :(

Kilmore R1

both unplaced = -0.8 - 28.3 first split.... like really! Agassi would have won and beat that donkey Ronald Street if he gets soft lead. Clueless bunch in that race. Yes lets all fire out our C0 horses and pretend its a 400m race! *rolls eyes* Wonder if i'll break even tonight.

Kilmore R3

Brunswick Bruiser - lay
Wetlands - win
Battle Heights - lay
