I wouldn't really say he worked hard for the lead. D Douglas on Loves To Rock gifted him the lead. Weak driving by DD. The bloke is a crook.
If you're going to hand up to Real Life, might as well start handing up to crap like Walton Van and friends.
Yeah i got him at $3.20.
Hes now into $2.80 fixed odds.
If he doesn't win i don't eat until Thursday.
Hes the only bet I've had for the last week.

I never thought i would say this about webster but what in gods name were u trying to do...last start megasam hands up to him and then today he doesnt even tackle for the lead and the was the only way he was going to win, he made to many moves to be able to sit and sprint with them. terrible. but what can u do
^^^ lolllllllllllll
Funny thread, starts with me and Carlton trying to improve our game which in turns follows Brooklyn arriving tipping only odds on shots from about 6 races per week proclaiming his godliness, followed by Jaspers arrival stating we all "struggle" who in turn only selects favourites who incidently 80% lose followed by Stressless coming alive and finding nadda. Oh and the few randoms who did chime in like Bernie and a couple of others are outstanding judges with class who unfortunately rarely share there superior knowledge with us amatuers.
Happy to see you have a good night Carlton and better yet you found a nice priced winner, not an odds shot!
For any randoms wondering why i quit this thread, it went something like me abusing Victorian harness racing, especially one certain trainer who i prolly got wrong, but it was a heat of the moment thing, heh, followed by Stressless attacking me, followed by me threatening to kick his head in if he kept going, followed by him running to the mods to get me red carded on 2 counts for threatening him and slandering said certain trainer. In fact i deserved that red card but i'm happy i said it regardless not that i'll do that again, lol
This then followed up by a direct email from Stressless telling me if he ever finds me "we will see if you call me prick" which in turn who was replied with ... Well i can't say it on here.
Shame to, thread was going very well to. I admit i played my part in it's downfall though, ah well!![]()

By the way, anyone would think reading the two harness threads over the past couple of weeks that they could be mistaken for thinking they were reading threads where sporting teams and fans hated each other. Thought we were all here to talk about a sport we love and try to give each other some insight into finding a couple of winners.
Good Punting Everyone![]()
No disrespect to anyone's opinions but if anyone has been watching the two horses over the last two years they would know that BAF has lengths on BGJ. I know BGJ has run some fast times lately but as Brooklyn said true champions win regardless of times, barriers or distances.
I know it's months away but if BAF stays sound he will win his 4th consecutive Inter Dom.

they were both here for inter last year seth will no but not spirit of a sharkSpirit of a Shark won at GP on Friday night. I can't remember the other one.
If they are the two you were talking about.
do we look like getting a look at this machine over here dont care where i will be goinggoing through it a bit more im willing to admit bgj probably only had a 25% of winning that race. but still its his best chance other then the 2times he had beaten the champ.
on a forum i visit expat joey muscara (now in US) posts? has realy insightful comments when he does post. somebeachsomehwere is going to stand in nz next breeding season with a book of 135 mares, fantastic news for nz breeders.
mr feelgood is the one to be trained in australia somehwere under the name of tim butt. sold for 1mill he is in the top5 or so American open aged pacers and muscara thinks he will be third best horse behind baf and auckland reactor.
thats them , turned out a big expense i think if you have to rush them you can forget them. heard butt was going to train this import from somewhere in vicprobably wont run until the inter, maybe one race before hand.
the two that came last year i assume you mean cams fool and articulator. think they both went back to usa. articulator clearly wasnt up to it and cams fool struggled although think he improved as he acclimatised more

They retired SomeBeachSomeWhere? Good grief! That horse had awesome ability, what are they thinking! Money is less important then watching a champion like him run around! People should look for his runs on Youtube!
I hope his offspring can even get half his ability, OZ racing would benefit greatly!
Just though I'd use this thread to post my short-list that I used for the harness tipping competition so I can bitch about all the horses I liked but didn't put in amongst my 5 tips after my competition tips fail miserably.
Shepparton
Race 5 - #4 Galveron - unplaced (led, booted on the turn but folded the last 150)
Gloucester Park
Race 1 - #3 A Question of Time - 1st paid $2.40 (death seat, too strong)
Race 3 - #1 Fake Occasion - 2nd paying $9.70 (leader's back, driver stayed in when he could've peeled before the turn when the 1/1 dropped out, no run climbing all over them in straight. Damn!)
Race 4 - #6 Demoralizer - 1st paid $1.70 (got to the lead and drew clear in the end)
Race 5 - #8 Power In Disguise - 1st paid $5.30 (tough tough win and great drive by G Hall Jnr, kept the favourite 3 wide the duration really toughed it out in the breeze to just get up)
Race 6 - #12 Sneakyn Down Under (wasn't sure over the mile with this one, but Quick Draw McCaw begins like lightning and AC Lewis is the right man to try to push through and follow) - 1st paid $1.60 (moved around to the death seat in quick time and brained them even with the tough run. Top liner.)
Race 7 - #9 Hayton Brain (think they go like the clappers up front, hopefully Wunder Cloud or Roydon Holmes get to the pegs first then Spirit of a Shark tries to take them on for the lead and Dr Dre goes forward also.) - 1st deadheat! paid $2.50 revised (came from the back 3 wide and trailled Dr Dre into it. Shade disappointing it couldn't win outright considering the run.)
Race 9 - #3 Good Boys - 1st paid $2.30 after being backed in dramatically - I guess due to punters just noticing its form behind Sneakyn Down Under and Dr Dre which had just been franked in a big way earlier in the night. (moved to the lead mid-race and held off Star City Roller.
