He sizzled through the lead time when caught 4 wide early, kept pressing for the lead and eventually got it.... didn't show his customary ping at the end of his race though.... might be time for a spell... hes showed enough, i hope the owners dont get greedy and race him into the ground like the Mannings do.

One thing is, hes not a machine, would be nice to actually see him driven properly instead of being driven giving his opposition no respect.

Hey Carlton, was a huge run Iron Hudge. Out in 34 lead time and 28.4 first quarter and he still only just got nutted. Hes a grand circuit horse in the making.

Rough night again Saturday. Knew i was im trouble as the races looked very competetive but i still learned a thing or 2, found a few future winners. I definately got a few selections way wrong though, ah well you live and learn! Confident i can make a comeback in the coming weeks.

14 units outlay for 5.2 return, so 8.8 unit loss for overall result of +16.6 units

Horses to follow from the weekend from what i saw,

By the left - When drawn to lead, he has the other claimers in a lot of trouble
Fakebryanne - Very solid in weaker grade, was stiff to lose
Boris Reigns - What a turn up, led, kept rolling and was stiff to lose, follow when he draws a good gate
Iron Hudge - Superstar of the future
All Promises - Absolutely no luck her last 2 runs. Was caught third the fence and never saw daylight in the big mares race at Menangle then pushed up into the 1-1 spot, got dragged back to last, then made another run for a close up fourth. Shes bursting for a big win. I really believe shes the second best mare in Australia.
What Ever You Like - When this horse gets a barrier, will win and will pay good odds to
Washakie - Best horse in WA
Laguna Beach - Very good run Friday night, looks very hard to beat in weaker grade.
Make me Smile - Treated opposition with contempt. Super fast beginner, might be the best horse in NSW on that run, would back him to beat Divisive on that.
Molly Darling - Flying, super run, will be winning very soon
Ted Butler - Seems to grow a leg when he finds the lead
Montrose Kid - Easily the best trotter in NSW
