Fun day, copped a severe belting! Good night if anyones around!

gees brooklyn hope you could get time of from the dog van today watched your namesake win, good horse there so he is. suppose you would be busy with the show on , hows the best driver in front going , still getting plenty winners or helping with the dogs.

W.A harness - Had an epiphany last night.

Don't worry about horses current form as much and more focus on whos driving them. Seriously, this works! I went back plenty of race meetings, same thing, top drivers dominate nearly every race. The people who are not in the inner circle hardly ever get a look in. This narrows down most races siginificantly but the guess work to pick which one if there's more then 2 might be to hard to overcome!

As for Terang, lol i dunno, haha

Anyways on to tonight and another hiding! I can feel it!

Bathurst race 4 - Fast Sticks - win / Lucky Xample is overs ... in fact i might just put down who i think are the main chances and who i think isnt if there short enough to lay, more fun for me as i really dont care that much who wins

MM unplaced - It's funny you know horse racing. Some horses can go close in strong mile rates but struggle to break 30. Always had issues with horses who can stick on in quick time, yet will run worse the following start in slower time. They may be tough in there grade but they can't sprint to save there life. Good lesson for me! A few horses lately iv'e gone for, the same thing, i think when you have these sort of horses, they got to lead/death.

Hmm, definately a combination between mile rate vs barrier vs opposition vs final quarter and probably in order of importance,

Been ignoring final quarter far to much the last 2 days and my results show. Interesting as an example yesterday, The Final Word and the horse that led that race. Both can run strong mile rates, both were going to lead/death but is it suprising that The Final Word kept pouring the speed on and got the other one under pressure before the final corner and won. He has the mile rate advantage AND closing speed to win.

This would make very few races betting opportunities, because unless you are in front you need a clear adavantage or be in the perfect spot to win.

I think my following selections will be a lot closer to the ball but they might be spaced as i got to find the right race.

Bathurst unplaced - Is it suprising? Fast Sticks won in good time but 29.9 last split/Lucky Xample slightly worse. How can you win with such a slow quarter unless the leader crawls home.

I don't think many people who play these markets put much thought into it.

There was 44,000 in the pool and i reckon only 2% of people had any idea, the others got lucky or are plain donators. No wonder the TAB is so rich!

There's a horse to follow if he strikes a similar field next start. Alberto... was best horse in race 2 but had no breaks. That horse will win money for followers.

Anyways

Race 4 Redcliffe - Ill be right here but no prizes as faves short.

Santuzza has the mile rate/speed and she leads, will win barring mistakes.

Horses 2,3,4,5,6,8,10 - all lays

Torchic and Black Attitude SHOULD fight out second and third. I especially like Black Attitude but looks a hard ask to run down the fave.

Santuzza won at 1/10 on by 25m, yay! Other 2 broke, i think Black Attitude broke twice, haha, funnnnny!

Echuca

Race 5 - Imfeera Boke - win - Not a good race, Brikante and he are close + whatever leads

Victree Reign wins at 11.00!!

I think i'm back now to finding winners. I shalt never ignore last quarters again! Slap Self! haha.... Funny too, only need one good winner and that can cancel out 10 bad selections + with all my lays losing i bet i'm in front! and i have been going shocking, can't wait till i run good!

Oh and Imfeera Bloke didn't win because of the barrier, snagged right back then had to circle off the track, just missed. Got to have all 4 of my critera in place. Inside the back row behind a slow horse isn't exactly intelligent.

Redcliffe race 6

Gualtiero - lay ... ooh now i'm getting confident, laying the odds on shot!

Tri Laughing/Starglo Miss/Be afraid - win ... First 2 are both good and the latter is first up for dixon stable so god only knows if its good or not. Although personally if i was to bet here, i'd just lay the fave and wouldn't bet on anything to win.

Damn, Guatiero fell in by a half head with the softest run in front. Mug backers so lucky! The fools were lining up taking as short as 1.35, went 32 and 32 for the second and third splits. So sad! Absolute tradgedy! I hope they line up next start cos they'll be giving it right back!

Redcliffe race 7 - Red River Falcon - win

Last race sucks and i want to do something else, good night thread! Pretty happy with tonight, consistancy wasn't great but i'm back on track again. Can feel a few good days coming on!

Been bothering me since last night and all morning. Red River Falcon, tried to be cute and went right back through his form to Jan this year when he rated 2/2 29.8 winning leading throughout. That was going to cut it cos thats about as fast a quarter as he can run. Shallow Tempest can sit anywhere and run that down. Now thats off my chest, on to today!

Gold Coast R1

Buckleup Buster - win
Manihi - lay

... and Starrtika sucks and i want to lay it but the race is so crap i just cant

Great start, Starrtika wins, Buckleup Buster found nothing, how did that prick run 28.5 last start to beat Atoms Exit, christ! and Manihi flogged! haha

Will keep a running total on how i'm doing

2 units outlayed - 2 return = 0 overall

Newcastle R1

Redfern Boy* - win .... Hes a special, if he cant beat this lot, then i have overrated him because he should smash these. Perfect race for him.

Back to being hopeless, terrible run, that horse can kiss my arse now! overall -2 units , sigh, i expected so much more! One day i will get this right. :(

Newcastle R2

Roger Wilco - win

Miss Bulle breaks when going to win, when it rains it pours, i think i got a hex over me right now! Maybe the earth can open up and swallow my next selection! overall - -2.4 units

Newcastle R3

Smokey Cartright - win

Smokey Cartright wins at 4.50. Overall +2.1 units ... Thats what a live about horse racing. Can fire out a zillion losers but 1 or 2 winners and you can end up miles in front.

Gold Coast R4

Wrecker - win
