Anyway good old Cranbourne Thursday nights are back, this is usually my foundation for the weekend, might have just an all up on these 3:

Race 2 - Christian Melody

Race 5 - Anvils A Coaster

Race 7 - Ohoka Georgia

I usually give a few lines or so to why they can win but they will be all too good, simple as that.

They all look to be favorites but an all up goes a long way, you could chuck in an extra few like Vinnie's Falcon and Veranjee but ill be leaving them out as there are a few queries there. If Singasongasixpence is wound up he will win this race but it took him a few runs to get going last prep so I'm presuming he is not.

R3- shocking race, very wide open. maybe the 9 or thr 6
R4- Floyd Bromac
R5- Fac Et Spiro. Spirit of a shark gets its chance, but Chris Lewis has jumped off and is driving Tee Pee Village.
R6- Im Themightyquinn. Apparently flying. Just wins.
R7-Spirit of Shard will probably win, but id be willing to back against it and take Albertas Fantasy for some value.
R8- A Question of Time, but no confidence.
R9-Star City Roller
R10- Mr Gandolfini.

Bunbury Tonight-
R3- Easy Big Fella
R4- Lively Royce. Has to step to win. Actually if he doesnt step, he will win as well. Take the 1.50
R5-Mach Ruler
R6-The Vice Captain.
R7-Jackmandoo.

Very confident about the ones at Bunbury tonight.

And watch Im Themightyquinn tonight. I have said it for weeks, it could be a superstar.

Lively Royce NZ was out to 2.10 when i put a lot on it about 3

currently its back to 1.50

Might put a bet on him tommorow BB, is @ $3 on the TAB's fixed odds indicating he'll be second favourite in the Melton Plate so has a bit of value there for a good thing. You're often pretty good with harness tips I've been noticing so when you find a best bet it must be pretty certain.

Probably serves me right for not being on course or asking someone on course to have a look at him and see how forward he looked first up.

Yeah i very much doubt u would get over $3 on tab at race time u should take it..im pretty sure the pro's will smash him very late so i would take it now

Hes now into $2.80 fixed odds.

If he doesn't win i don't eat until Thursday.

Hes the only bet I've had for the last week.

Yeah I got him at those odds as I feel he'll be a fair bit less then that come race time, around $2.10.

Hopefully the horse can bring home the bacon.

PS - Mister Swinger is $2.50 on the TAB with still 20 mins to go.

working on a 1unit for a win and 0.5EW (0.5place and 0.5win) i finished with 10.15units The outlay for the whole night was 8units. this gives my return as 2.15units, or a 20% win for the night basically

I never thought i would say this about webster but what in gods name were u trying to do...last start megasam hands up to him and then today he doesnt even tackle for the lead and the was the only way he was going to win, he made to many moves to be able to sit and sprint with them. terrible. but what can u do

Yep, pretty bad ride. As you said, should've stayed with the leaders at the start but was rattling around behind them instead. That's racing, now...What's next week's racecard?

Race 5 - Spirit Of A Shark (1st-Eventually got the lead and never stopped and he just held on. Follow from good draws especially over the mile)

Race 7 - Spirit Of Shard(1st-Looked too good and he was, Fremantle Cup here we come)

Race 9 - Star City Roller (6th-Never put in the race, may be a little overated and past his devastating best)

Moonee Valley

Race 1 - Real Life (1st-Backed off the map on tote and track and he won very well when worked hard for the lead and got taken on, good horse)

Race 4 - Brooklyn Bute(2nd-I new this would happen with Alberado leading but i thought Brooklyn Bute would be little too good, i think he will improve from that, stay with him)

Race 5 - Bold Cruiser(Scratched)

Race 6 - Well Cast (2nd-Looked to have every chance to run down the leader as i think the death seat is his go under Roger Reeves, nearly got there, well done cartonblue for tippin the big price winner which was way overs)

Race 7 - Mister Swinger (3rd-In what I descrive as not a very good drive but this kind of thing happens, i thought he would lead but he didnt and he worked very hard, still a good run, great run Ebony Gem, he may be the pick of these 5YOs)

They were mostly short but its trots, still finished up if u followed them, only 1 selection was unplaced, so that is fairly good.

I think Ebony Gem is going to the Kilmore cup, it really really looks his race.

I wouldn't really say he worked hard for the lead. D Douglas on Loves To Rock gifted him the lead. Weak driving by DD. The bloke is a crook.

If you're going to hand up to Real Life, might as well start handing up to crap like Walton Van and friends.
