Nothing wrong with harness racing at all, not when Washakie gets rolled by a stablemate last week, then strolls in over the 1.10 fave tonight.

All above board.
Watch the final 200 of the 2009 Inter to see how good Washakie is from the pegs.
McCarthys obviously had no money on Washakie seeing Mr Feelgood started so short. Same last week; they had no money on BGJ as Washakie started so short.

Sure, so Washakie only runs around on 3 legs when in the breeze.

not much on offer today, lot of crappy fields.. picked out a couple of races on known horses.

Albion Park

Race 6 - Pretty weak field and not alot for Good Boys to beat. Shane Graham may or may not hand up on Bonnie Wee Laddie for the lead. He'll see the race and realise there's nothing in it but at the same time i think Good Boys on his last win and on his last run is quite a bit better then anything Bonnie Wee Laddie has done lately and on top of that i think BWL is weak as hell. Rest of the field is pretty sub standard.

Good Boys to win

Menangle

Race 6 - I personally believe Fair Blazing is a FFA horse but in saying that he has run some absolute shockers in the last 12 months or so. Last run driven upside down to win from the death which is not the horses preferred racing pattern so may be a sign he's on the way back or Russo has the magic working. It's a small field and his opposition is only moderate. If he's right he wins and that's what i'm gambling on. Also up against two Mccarthy runners so that should help bump the price tremendously.

Fair Blazing to win
Well done, got on Good boys.

Heaps of horses cannot handle the breeze. Sure there is corruption in harness racing, as there is in greyhounds and gallops but i dont have a problem with this particular event.

No; he runs on 5 with a sit. He wasn't even in the breeze the other week did you even watch the race?
Last week he was first up for a month (McCarthys would have given him a freshen up for the upcoming QLD Grand Circuit races). 3 wide and burning the first quarter and Be Good Johnny (a dual Miracle Mile winner mind you) had the sit on him. I don't think they could have planned for BGJ to get the sit on him; or were all the drivers in on it to?

You do realise you contradict yourself in the first line yeah?

Ok, so not the breeze, he has the 1-1. Yet gets lapped by Be good Johnny.

Then a week later he trots on by Mr Feelgood as easy as you like. There is the contradiction, some good the 5 legs did him.

Maybe who ever said how good Washakie was with a trail should go and watch the races where Mr Feelgood has lead.

Oh yeah, Be Good Johnny was going so well the week before, how did he go this week? That is right, beaten 23m, not a bad turnaround in a week I would say. Must have been a decent amount of work in those 7 days.

So by sit I meant on the pegs. Big deal.
Lapped? Beaten just over a length and didnt get driven out the last 100m.

Yeah; BGJ had pretty much just as an easy a run as last week. Beaten 22m. That equates to about 1.5secs. Surprise surprise that means he went his mile in 1.54 which is actually quicker than last week. So BGJ wasn't juiced up for last week and he didn't lose a leg this week. The blame lays with Washakie growing a leg from last week to this week - and how the race panned out.
Which as I explained; last week he was first up and went 3 wide in a blistering first quarter. This week he is eased of the gate and finds the markers in a moderate first quarter.
It is also important to note Be Good Johnny started 4 lengths further back this week compared to 1 length further back plus had to go wider on the track than Washakie. It doesn't take much of a mathematician to work out the difference in margin with the different runs.

Yeh i will be following Terror time after those tips for next time. Great effort, not only did he tip half of them were winners, all got at least a place and some of those winners he tipped were paying well.
