Western Bulldogs
Just had a closer look at the team and Harris has been named at FF with Morgan at FB.

B: Hargrave, Morgan, Harrison
HB: Smith, Grant, Koops
C: Giansiracusa, West, R.Murphy
HF: Bowden, Rawlings, Eagleton
F: Cooney, Harris , Garlick
FOLL: Darcy, Hahn, Johnson
I/C: Boyd, McMahon, Minson, Robbins
EMG: Cross, Faulkner, Skipper
IN: Harris, Cooney
OUT: Faulkner, Skipper

What are the odds of him lining up there... I woulda thought that Harris would play FB on Hall but maybe they are prepared to give Morgo a run on him and trial Harris in attack!

As mentioned by myself last week I am all for giving Harris a crack at FF but only when we have either found a suitable replacement for him at FB or we are playing a team that doesn't have a designated 'big man' at FF.

Hopefully Morgo is able to hold Hall to release Harris and Darcy/Minson in the forward line... talk about a nightmare for defenders!

he has about as much chance of lining up at full forward as Jordan McMahon does at starting in the ruck.

After morgans performance at full back on fevola. He deserves another crack to prove himself again in the same position this week.

Adversity creates opportunity.

With morgan fighting to secure a spot in the side. Harris must consider himself lucky to return hopefully he repays the faith with an eye catching display at FF this week.

I have been looking forward to this FF scenario.

We should see some screamers this week, to give sampi a run for his money

What about the 7 weeks previous this year alone that Harris has dominated at Full Back?

Interestingly enough, Harris played at FF last year in Sydney.
He had 2 kicks!! :D

Harris starts at FB. Rawlings at FF. Bowden the 'floating'/leading CHF. Darcy to stand in goals square when Minson has a run.

Make no mistake, we will win this game.

And (not that I'm advocating gambling at all) 2.50 is a redicuously good price!!

It's worth a try, but maybe Morgan has been named there because Hall leads up the ground at times and he was adjugded more suitable for the role. If that is the case, its a load of bull. Harris is going to make a great full-back and we've got to give him chances to grow his game.

This is a good game for us. Swans are a short team especially in defence.

I would look at plaing 2 big guys near goal. Rawlings and Darcy/Grant. That would mean they would probably have to play Goodes deep in defence where he might not hurt us so much.

Last year apart from Big Bad's 6 goals, it was Bolton.J,Kirk and Kennelly that murdered us in the middle. If we win the midfield and pump the ball inside 50 often enough we are a chance.
It would be great to win two in a row for the first time in a LONG time.

Sigh.... Harrison again playing..

We will never make finals with a dud like him playing in our backline. We've always had a weak backline (compared with our forwards and midfielders)...

Disgraceful... watch the clanger and ineffective disposal counts..

Maybe next week!

Right on S.S.dont say people are loosing faith in Harris already. (and I dont Mean you) i read that harris was lucky to get back in this week and if he plays at F.F.hopes he shows some faith what the........Harris will always show faith,as he wants to be in the seniors each week he will give it his best where ever he plays.

Harris is our full back and will be for the next ten years so dont expect him to play forward no matter where he has been named

Agreed he has been rock solid,
and for the record, I rate him very highly amongst our auto selections each week.

I say he is lucky only because a winning combination is always harder to change than a losing combination.

The main reasons i would like to see him at FF are:

Another option at FB is healthy for the team

Two footballers competing for one position in the side is healthy for the team

Harris has the ability to launch himself at the footy with fist or open hands with precision timing to be first at the contest.

He has played on some of the best forwards in the comp this year. He may have picked up some tricks.

He has not lost a one on one marking contest this year with a fifty fifty ball.

A team that has a player capable of FF or FB creates alot of problems for the opposition, physically & mentally

Mr hall will be be 2 tish scared to kick a goal on morgan in fear of the HARRISINATOR being moved onto him.
