Watching replay on Fox
Last qtr

Harry pinged for a throw, was adamant he hand passed it ...goal to Hayes

Harry out marked by Milne, Milne def had hands in Harrys back..goal to Milne

Not blaming H or umps, but 2 iffy decisions late that involved H and umps and cost goals.

Geez Thomas played a blinder.

We led until last 7 minutes.
But we had the ticker to come back.

I have feeling H, Pendles, Didak, Dawes, Swan will bring their AA game, and if Neon gets selected he will pull 7 tackles and kick 2.

Well I hope...

Yeah, my impression at the ground was that Harry O was r*ped by the umpires on both of those decisions/non-decisions. I haven't watched the replay of the game, but am not at all surprised to hear you say they looked dodgy on closer inspection.

We've got a bit more to give than the Saints.

In theory, Gram and Dal Santo could give more, but not likely. Reiwoldt & Milne are the only other quality players who could have performed better.

Kositzsche played out of his skin, a la Ryder on Anzac day, but can't see another repeat of that.

The other quality Saints players did well as was expected. Goddard, Hayes, Gilbert, Fisher amongst them.

We should be better prepared for the match-ups, which were a surprise. Mick isn't as adventurous as Lyon in the heat, but we now know plan b.

The decision that stood out for me was Swans holding the ball in the third. Honestly, it was their BUT moments earliar Hayes did almost the same thing and didn't get pinned. Wheres the consistancy in that.

Yep. Tuned into the replay now as i havent had the guts to watch it at the start of the week. Was so stiff with the holding the ball. It happened right in front of me in that pocket and was clear as day!

It only resulted in Eddy getting a shot at goal though. Lenny Hayes's goal was the one when Thomas turned it over on the wing from the kick in. Killed us that turnover as we had men everywhere!

Wellingham not throwing the ball directly back to schneider and then moving over the mark to get the ball... That's a 50 but it was let go.

Umpiring was great on the day, GF's mean a lot gets let go and it's better that way.

First non-troll post I've ever seen from you - well done, didn't know you had it in you.

Blair's mark 25 out and getting punched in the chest. That was a 50 as well, wasn't given. Blair ended up hitting the post. The umpiring benefited St. Kilda more than the pies. But was 90% well umpired. the 10% was in beneficial to the saints and cost the pies more on the score board. BUT REDEMPTION IS NEAR, AS IS THE RELIEF AND JOY FOR THE PIES FAITHFUL. GO PIES!

I would of thought Nathan Brown putting Riewoldt in a head lock and throwing him to the ground after marking was 50. I think it was very even the umpiring.
