Australia's greatest ever? Cahill or Mitchell Prentice might have something say about that I guess.

Harry Kewell is set to announce his retirement from all forms of football this afternoon.

Kewell, who played 56 matches for the Socceroos and appeared in two World Cups, is out of contract at the end of the season with A-League club Melbourne Heart.

Thanks for the memories Harry. The goals against England and Croatia especially.

Great player. Great career. I fully expected once he came to the realisation there wouldn't be a spot for him the World Cup team he'd retire.

Well played Harry Kewell :thumbsu:

Lost his urge to play for Australia when he was finally overcome with that English accent. On a serious note, Kewell is one of the greatest Aussie soccer players to put on the jersey.

Good luck with what he does next

Harry was a freak. On pure talent he is easily our greatest but we haven't seen his best for a good decade due to his horror run so just how good he was isn't remembered now.
