- Dees are keen and cashed up and are prepared to offer a big $$$ and years contract for the young Carlton key forward. Blues surplus of forwards and recent splurge on imported talent have made them vulnerable to a raid. Martin and Williams alone will take up $2mil of their cap in 2021.

- One of Brayshaw or Viney will be put on the table as a makeweight in the deal.

- Make of it what you will but you heard it here first. The Dees see McKay as the last piece of the puzzle in a sustained presence in the top eight and a genuine premiership tilt.

I can't see McKay going anywhere and Carlton certainly won't trade him imo. One of the best young forward prospects in the game.

He’s a promising talent and I’d be happy to get him but looking at his raw numbers he actually regressed marginally this season. He’s not the next Lance Franklin Ffs.

A McKay - Brayshaw trade is workable and will address the needs of both parties. Gus is a very good inside mid. Third in the Brownlow in 2018.

Solid source guys, this one is in the works.

This fairy tale has got more holes in it than a sieve.

If Martin is on another million next year his final 2 years he will be on $300k a year max.

Williams hasn't signed yet- if he does it will be about $800k a year which would be heavily front loaded.

So when Mckay is out of contract at the end of 2021 we will have enough for his pay rise.

Not to mention Viney is a FA- why would we trade?

If you are going to make sh1t up, at least get your facts right.
Here's some help;
Martin will not be on 1million next year
Williams has been offered much less by us then the North offer and that wasn't 1 million.
Viney is a RFA.
Enjoy.

The piece of the puzzle they lack for that is off the field

Not a troll post at all guys. Can understand Blues fans wanting to shoot the messenger but it is what is. You’ll get fair recompense in trade if/when it goes through.

Oh for sure. Brayshaw forming part of the deal practically makes it a straight trade with maybe a swap of our second rounders.
