And Nicks a stat padder and DeGoey should have been delisted after doing nothing wrong in Bali. Dickheads the lot of themAs is tradition. I remember at the end of 2022 when McStay wasn't going to add value to our forward line, Mitchell was washed and Frampton was good VFL depth.
Kane Cornflakes will hate thatI loved hearing Pendles rave about Perryman's December training form on his Howie Games podcast.
Pendles described him as a death by a thousands cut type. Just a pure footballer who just does all the little things right and just always picked the right option.

Reckon “The Sauce” is going to have an excellent career at the Piesv excited about hp
The criticism of us is so transparent isn't it?I recall a few clubs after Perryman and Houston. At the start of the trade period most of us thought we wouldn’t be big players. We watched other teams chase both players. Now they are Pies, opposition supporters love to devalue their talents.
All the talk is about the ageing list but there were a few clubs after these two players!

Lets just "stick it up 'em"!The criticism of us is so transparent isn't it?
We've brought in 3 highly quality, experienced players & 3 kids in the draft.
But all they can talk about are our veterans who are all still playing at a high level.
And apparently we're going to fall completely off the cliff if we get a few injuries according to Kaneo. Well we did get a lot of injuries last year & just missed the 8 by percentage only![]()

The narrative is that we are old as fcuk
The reality is we have significantly strengthened our best 23 in the off season
The way I see it, if we show that we are; a club who is great to work for, offers advantages post-career that most clubs can’t match, we will push for premierships as often as we can, it’s not going to be hard to attract FA’s.I agree 100% your post - but these statements are mutually exclusive
I don't think the issue is with the age of our list, we are due for a huge turnover in the next 1-3 years.
the issue in the future will be if the young players that we do have, become the players that we need them to be - if they do, then there s no issue (if the don't - we need to get very creative with bringing players in / chasing FAs)
He's nowhere near the Murray. Old Man Creek is an anabranch of the Murrumbidgee River. Near Collingullie where he played junior football.Get him away from the Murray. Every one is just a night out in Mi'dura away from a headline.
All clubs have to regenerate. But there's a group think that it has to be done by adding 18 year olds who stay at the club for 15 years. The way I see it, if we show that we are; a club who is great to work for, offers advantages post-career that most clubs can’t match, we will push for premierships as often as we can, it’s not going to be hard to attract FA’s.
Who wouldn’t want to play with Nick?

Actually, the Murray cod isn’t just confined to the Murray River, but inhabits pretty much the entire Murray-Darling catchment, with all its tributaries, including the Murrumbidgee. It can even be found all the way up the Darling into Queensland. Can't be right. What sort of cod is he chasing? I've never heard of Murrumbidgee Cod.
For sure. With the way FA and trading is already (not even mentioning the ability to trade further into the future that’s about to be allowed), it’s gonna pay to stay in contention. All clubs have to regenerate. Over the last 3 trade periods we've added:
Mitchell, McStay, Hill, Schultz, Houston, Perryman, Membrey
With the stigma of changing clubs pretty much gone, i don't see why we can't continue to add mature senior players and have the occassional kid coming through, rather than the other way around.
You'd love the next Ricky Ponting - and we've got him already, but Mike Hussey's much shorter career as an Australian cricketer was pretty outstanding too. We might not need to rely mainly on 15+ year guys. Times have changed.
Has an early bye but if he’s got the midfield role locked up, absolutely pick himSuperCoach worthy?
You're just bullshitting me now. A Darling Cod?Actually, the Murray cod isn’t just confined to the Murray River, but inhabits pretty much the entire Murray-Darling catchment, with all its tributaries, including the Murrumbidgee. It can even be found all the way up the Darling into Queensland.
I catch them in Melton reservoir, as well as yellowbellyActually, the Murray cod isn’t just confined to the Murray River, but inhabits pretty much the entire Murray-Darling catchment, with all its tributaries, including the Murrumbidgee. They are frightening out there. I am afraid to leave my car parked thereNow that I believe. There are a bunch of cods in Melton.
It must be nice at the same time. Not many places that Werribee folk can look down upon the locals. They are frightening out there. I am afraid to leave my car parked there
