Agree. Its the cost of landing a decent free agent. I was excited about getting this guy and he hasn't disappointed.

Great match saving intercept mark. Earlier I thought he should've taken a shot from 45 instead of passing to Pendles on that tough angle.

Can see that Perryman is going to be a great replacement for Pendles and Sidey as a smart, steady veteran. With discussion around Perryman or Peatling in the off season, very pleased with the outcome.

The additions we've made have been huge. We're much more bullet proof for adding Perryman, Houston and Membrey (plus the development of Long), greatly increasing our chances of winning enough games for top 4. How much they add to the top end of our performances is yet to be seen, but they've significantly improved our baseline.

Played pretty good in the midfield today. Thought Houston had a good game today, J Daicos is just having an AA level season so when we get the opportunity to play a loose its Daicos for his disposal or Howe for his intercept work. Patience.

Gun. I loved him at GWS. Every time he was near the ball, there was a contest or turnover.... loved he chose us!

He isn't flashy but to real fans he doesn't go unnoticed at all, astute pick up by the club.

To me it's a bit like Crisp when he gets played on the wing, Perryman is a far better defender than our other mids, so unless he's a far better mid than Pendles, Sidey, Long (he's not yet), he's going to play defence before them, when we have a defender out and need that 7th defender.

How good is it having a guy who simply doesn't make mistakes.

He's obscenely clean. Every time the ball goes near him, you just feel so safe knowing that he's gonna compete hard, choose the right option, and execute.

He's the definition of reliability, and everything he does is just so god damn correct. He even makes a left footed finish from 50 on the run look routine.

Fly would love him to bits - he just plays the system, nothing flashy, but always effective. Every. Single. Time.
