Harry played so well for a first year player in the AFL last year. He was consistently good - and having a year under his belt I am sure he will learn to zone off a bit more. However if he plays CHB, as it seems likely, he will do well just sit on and stop some of the good CHFs going around at present.
He seems to read the play well, his kicking skills are very good (and just what the doctor ordered for an attacking HB) and with his extra bulk this year he could be an excellent replacement for Egan (I just wish we had both !), though not as tall or as physically strong.
Does anyone really believe Egan can make a recovery ? Has anyone recovered from what he has ? My heart sank when I heard the news it seems over for him. We had a really solid CHB for the next 5 + years - just pencil in the name Egan at CHB for the season, and most Geelong supporters (and staff) would have been happy I suspect. Taylor would then have the potential to be the new Harley down back for the next decade. What a backline that would be - two relatively tall young guns. 'Oh the pain, the pain of it all' - Dr. Smith (Lost in Space).
