Coincidental timing for mine. DeGoey was in career best fitness over the preseason before injury struck late and again early in the season proper. If it wasn’t for those interruptions he would have played mid sooner.

Ruscoe and Henry made some good progress after very slow starts to the year.

Kids showed development too and appeared to play with more confidence and freedom than under Bucks.

Ruscoe and Henry made some good progress after very slow starts to the year.

Not sure who made the decision to switch Ruscoe back in early May, but it worked out well. Henry, Macrae and a couple other Victorian draftees looked to benefit from continuity in their footy after covid disruptions in their final year of junior footy. Normally youth tires as the season progresses, so it will be interesting to see how this difference plays out in 2022.
