Good enough first game for a small forward. 8 touches, 4 tackles and a goal (almost had 2).

Would think we'd prefer not to be fielding a second gamer next week though. If we have enough available, may miss for Elliott. Could be a sub candidate.

Not sure if he will. No fault of his own, but if you can avoid it you don't want to play fringe second gamers in a big game. If Elliott's back and no injuries from today, he may miss. Then there's the potential of adding Lipinski and McStay.

Agree. Fast, strong, kicks either foot, can kick goals from 50m, snap goals and sharks a spilled ball well.

A strength of Harrison's is his humility. There's no song and dance, he just gets on with the job. And I like that type of play. He wasn't the worst player out on the field and I think he's shown enough to Warrant a one year extension. He made some smart choices and moved to the right places.

Maybe. Selection isn't made based on a single game and Ginnivan isn't certain to be selected himself. We'll see.

I like his pressure and speed and he tackles alright as well, tough gig as a small forward and if we can get his hammies fully sorted with his speed and strength he could get midfield rotations in the future. a promising player and easy to see why he has been on the coaches radar virtually from day 1.

That’s not a bad start for a first gamer though. Especially one playing in a league leading 23.

It would be more concerning if he was mediocre at everything without having a weapon.

I am again reminded of the comments on here about how McCreery looked slower than advertised in his first couple of games. After he settled a bit and was able to play instinctively, be proactive rather than reactive, all of a sudden he looked like ****ing lightning.

We have to bear in mind HH is a speculative late pick. If he becomes a player for us then it’s a massive bonus. Was decent today in his first game. Can’t expect rankine level of skill from him. Not to many players become afl quality at pick 52
