He thought we had won so was taking pronounciation lessons. learning that derby is pronounced wth an 'e' not an 'a'.

For those who missed him tonight on the box, he gave fair indication that there is a different Freo getting around at the moment.

Surprised me to see he has a sense of humour and that he's not afraid to use it...

I've always seen him as a fairly serious bloke who just wants to stick to the footy, and "don't ask me any other bull cos I'm a serious bloke who just wants to talk about the footy".

But when he said "daaaaarby", and then stopped and looked around waiting for some mug to say "deeeerby" (which some journo mug duly did), and he said, "yeah I know"... well I had a laugh along with all the mug journos.
