Yes, need a few of the bottom teams to cause some upsets, and not against us

Based on your ladder predictor there are 5 teams finishing within 4 points of us (not including Collingwood and Geelong further above). These 5 teams currently have a combined 40 games to be involved in for the remainder of the season, of which 6 games are to be played between those sides. How confident are you that you've nailed the result of all 40 matches?

I wouldn't read too much into ladder predictors at this stage.

It's a fine line - we lose one of Adelaide and Brisbane we probably miss top 4, and if we lose more than two games in the home stretch we could miss the Top 8 all together. 4 - 9 will be very tight, Brisbane are lucky they have the draw, as percentage won't matter for them.

We can hope for 8-9 wins but realistically 6-7 is more likely. My guess is a loss to Adelaide or Brisbane and one other loss - maybe Sydney or Melbourne.

Melbourne are a dumpster fire, probably the last team I am worried about at the moment (knock on wood, don't bite me in the ass please) .

Hope you’re right but it’s the sort of game we lose. 2025 will have to be different to what we’ve seen in recent years.

Confident - not at all.
But I had to make a selection, and I simply went with if I was having to do footy tips today, who would I tip.

PS - If you saw my tipping, you would know that anything is possible.

I have us finishing 4th by percentage with Crows in fifth. Looking at a Prelim against the Cats to get to the Grand final. Brisbane and Pies is the other Prelim.

Fremantle will lose a number of games. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose this week.

Norf should have knocked them off and an essendon team with less injuries would have given them a run. Overrated.

Can see Adelaide and GC losing more than people think as well.

I'd say we're 50/50 to make top 4.

If we beat both Crows and Lions, bookmark it.

The game this week against Sydney is the game I'm most worried about in the run home (besides Brisbane), strongest team they've had all year and just don't have a good feeling about it.

If we can get past them it does set us up nicely for the rest of season.

I'm still not convinced by GWS, they were very lucky to beat Richmond, Brisbane and Gold Coast recently and expected score had them losing all three. I think they are most likely to miss out, although Hawthorn would be the funniest result.

Except most of the games from now are teams below us. And we simply won't lose to GWS. Think we will beat Adelaide as well in a tight game.

We have 1 win and 5 losses against teams currently above us on the ladder BUT we are yet to play a team above us with BOTH Marcus Bontempelli and Sam Darcy playing.

Considering how close those 5 losses were without Bont or Sam playing, it is just a matter of time before we beat a team above us on the ladder.

That doesn't change the fact that every game from now on is a MUST WIN starting Friday night, as we have little margin for error if we are to make the finals.
