When a new indian player comes into bat and their photo and stas are displayed on the screen, it looks like the colour of their skin has been lightened several shades?
Either that or they are smeared in white zinc.

even coloured folks burn in the Australia sun.

Had a mate, big tall ranga, said all day in the afghanistan sun with just boots and shorts, and no burn, 30 mins in Aus at midday and he's toast and in pain.

they rub dirt onto their faces before they take the field, or it could be when they do the photo/video they use lights and reflectors that make them look lighter than actually are.

Still not sure which one it is...........

I know what you mean.

Put it this way...several Indian cricketers are in commercials for skin whitening products in India...

Case solved...

So in Australia everyone wants to be tanned, and in India everyone wants to have light skin?
Maybe not everyone.. but it's more popular than you'd think. We did a case study at uni which talked about a product called 'Fair & Lovely' which is skin whitening cream.

Don't think it'd sell here, just quietly. :p
