Has Hamling improved?

Not sure why people think Hamling could have replaced Lonergan long term... he's a mobile 3rd tall that can push up the ground, not a lockdown FB.

Was a very courageous act he got injured in, hopefully not too serious. We really missed him against the Gold Coast, he works with our system so much better than Talia.

would be great if he could get up for the trip down the highway.

I think Bev's zone defence suits him way better than our 1:1 under Mac would have. His weakness is his body work when isolated. But given a run at the ball, he seems fine.

I'd say he's elite when given a run at it. His speed, leap and ability to judge the ball in flight are outstanding. He's always in the right spot and uses the ball very very well. Just not a powerful kid. Leave him one out with hawkins or Cloke and he'd be toast. But how many defenders wouldn't be?? Rance, Mckenzie, McPharlin. That's about it.

Hamling...that really hurts now. We are very shallow down back after that North game tonight.

Totally agree , we are also painfully slow with Lonners , Taylor , Rivers and Mackie down there at the same time.
Just look at how easily North got in behind us on the rebound.
Kolo needs to play every game for the balance of the season to be a best 22 starter in 2016 - I'd hate to think how slow we will be next season with Lonners, Taylor and Rivers as our key talls. It's a fact that talls don't get any shorter but it's also true that father time slows you down.

Id like for him to be given a run up forward as a hitup, but his fitness levels are up to it?

And Lake.

we would not have had a game with us this season
so pretty much like taylor hunt, but taylor hunt would have played a few games with us

What's the deal with Talia he's been out of the side a few times this year?
Is it just form related?

Yeah, has us stumped abit. Was in the side earlier, then once Hamling came in, Talia has struggled to get back into the side. Last week he got moved forward, and is named up forward tomorrow for Footscray, so Bev may be looking at using him as a forward going forward. Who knows though..
