Coach Has Ken Hinkley Been Found Out?

Actually 100% right. Limped home against a team with a joke of a finals record who had double the scoring then eliminated as would of been winless if playing any competent week 1 side.

How's it feel champ, Port worst minor premier in history.
Lol this coming from a guy who’s team hasn’t won a final since John Howard was in office.

Kenny boy has won one final since 2014 with that sole win coming in a pandemic interrupted season where Port were given a disproportionately large number of home games.

Two weeks rest and got run over by Richmond that has been living out of hotels for three months.

And reality is Port were lucky not to be out of the Qualifying Final at half time. Hawkins had one of his career worse nights in front of goal while Motlop couldn't miss.

Port has to question where they go now if they want success. It's simply not going to happen under Hinkley.

Four-quarter effort that probably gets the better of any other side. Hard to fault Port's year.

Richmond got the job done in a fairly dour final where neither side particularly impressed.

But Port had every advantage going into this final yet fell short. 10 scoring shots won't win you any finals.

This is such a ridiculous myth. We had 5 less home games than a regular season, but the same amount of away games.

Most of the league has been living out of suitcases for the past three months. Port players lives have been mostly normal apart from an early season hub.

Golden opportunity that went begging tonight for Port. Once in a lifetime opportunity.

The Crows had 3 more games in Adelaide than we did and they finished stone motherless last.

* off you clueless w***er.

Hawkins having a bad night in front of goal tells half a story, hard to kick a score when most of your kicks are from 45-50 out on a ridiculous angle. Anyone who watched that game with an ounce of objectivity would say we were the better side on balance. Then tonight we pushed the best side of the last half decade to the very last moment. Eat a massive dick you monumental flog.

Intense like the 05/06 grand finals, but in pouring rain.

Even in the last quarter it felt like Richmond were in control and their game to lose. Port didn't get any flow going all night. Dixon was a huge bust. Worked on his rig all summer for nothing in the end. That long bomb goal was a incredible kick but as a focal point up forward gave nothing all night.

Port just weren't up for a fight. Season average of 57 tackles. Tonight, a mere 62 tackles despite the conditions and season on the line.

I put this one on Hinkley. Didn't prepare the side properly.

I've got nothing against Port great club with great fans, tremendous history.

I just don't think Hinkley is the guy for Port. His record is poor in finals. Finally had a chance to convert this year after being on top of the ladder all season, up against a team that has spent three months on the road, two weeks rest.

In the end Port only laid 62 tackles. Barely above their season average and less than their opposition.

Port just not hungry enough.

Bruce was waffling on about Port having their backs to the wall when they were four points behind.

Dixon monstered Balta last time but a 20yo handling a potential matchwinner like he did deserved a lot more praise. Port were maybe a bit too predictable; they went long to the contest a lot.

They were up for it and would've beaten any other side tonight, though I did get a sense of them inhaling the Adelaide bubble air a bit too deeply in the buildup.

pretty sad that you even bothered mentioning the Crows - they have nothing to do with Port becoming the first team to sit an entire season in 1st place and not make the GF

No worries Ron Barrassi.
