I dont like potting blokes, gives me no pleasure at all. Ive been worried about Kingys form since mid last year where to be frank he's barely made an impact in any game.

Last night we had MORE disposals..18 more I50s...More contested Ball and more tackles and WTF we LOST...

The nub of it is our good for nothing front half that was on the end of any amount of ball squandered, cocked up, clusters ****ed everything that came their way.

Kingy was a fair culprit, im a traditionalist , FP are paid to kick goals...Jake really couldnt do anything right, even that last roll of the dice ...he should have straightened up, NO pressure and slotted it, instead he grassed it like a F grade amateur

His partner in crime Nahas..is also battling...dominates againt the cellar dwellars when naturally he plays on typically the worst player in the side...against the strong sides where they are all good players....he struggles for an impact. He wasnt terrible last night...a few I50s, some good tackles...almost a pass mark

But its not hard to see why we are struggling to finish sides off:confused:

King thinks he is some kind of celebrity now and when he does touch the ball, which isnt very often, thinks that he is invincible...wrong King, next stop is the scrap heap dude...I blame the brains trust. Shit like this happens when a player is rushed in and thinks he is some kind of vital cog that the team needs..;)

Have a sook. If we'd got smashed you'd be on here complaining that "all i want to see is our guys have a crack." Well we did and we lost. Such is sport.

Last night for the most part he looked like a startled little rabbit in the headlights ... this time last year he was our Ballentyne throwing his weight around and had a tonne of presence and influence.

Looks to have completely lost his mojo .

With the 2 you have noted along with JR8's and Vickerys form and our front half is in complete disarray and its why i am so angry and frustrated . Fact is we have done enough in about all but 2 of our games to won .... We are on the verge of missing a great opportunity and most dont see it

Not one of the most you mention dude. Next week is the game where we realize how we should have been 5-3 at least and we are gunna cop a reaming that we are due for..;)

The old Richmond curse mate ... seen it so many times its not funny .

The ol' "one swallow makes a summer" mentality ;) .. players having their breakout season and reclining on the deck chair thinking they've done enough

I think it has. It's been a while since he's really impacted a game. The team has passed him by. I've been his biggest fan for some time but now we've outgrown him.

BTW you've potted Nahas a couple times from what I've seen- I don't think he's part of the problem. He's been very good this season, wasn't at his best last night but was far from our worst.

Whoever it is, Grimes out is a huuuuuuuuuuuge head ache for Dimma and the brains trust. Going out on a limb here and suggesting we will lose all our games that he misses..They have NFI how to cover him.
The other thing that is becoming more and more apparent by the week is that they better find someone to help out the big Mullet, because he will burn out before we know it. He is doing a power of work not only in the center but all over the ground and it will catch up, we are only in R8..
This is why we shoulda had the runs on the board, but havent, is gunna put us back to the future..
Not saying we are not on the right path, just sayng that this years is shot..;)

I think the opposite. I think this will be the week that Dimma really gets stuck into the group over letting it slip, and they will come out harder than ever. Dunno if we can win, but I don't think at any stage they will look like blowing us away.

has had an interrupted preseason with a knee injury sustained in the irish game, came back and hurt it again against collingwood. this is his second game back i believe. just needs to go back to coburg and stay there until he finds form and confidence. and if the team wins with out him and he is not needed then so be it. if they do then he'll be there. i also think that jacks form and ty injury/form hasnt helped.

remember he has been written off plenty of times before but i wont be falling into that, i know better.

Needs to be upgraded has had next to no impact since about halfway through last season, when he actually gets the ball he runs to far with it and gets himself into trouble tries to be to cute with it or just stuffs it up.
From where I was sitting last night Edwards looked far more like a small forward positioning himself front and square at the marking contest to give himself the best chance at gathering the crumbs.
Need to seriously be looking at the WAFL SANFL and VFL for a forward pocket that actually makes the most of his opportunities.

So you are basically saying that the brains trust has ****ed up. We can only debate on what we see. Why we see it, or dont see it in King's case, is irrelevant. He gets selected, to us it means the brains trust know he can play his role. FFS, some people talk about push up as some kind of match winning star that the side's fortunes hinge on and needs to be rushed in, even when he is under a cloud...;)

He worked his way into it but the little prick thinks he's Wayne Carey strutting around.
Edwards put a nail in his coffin last night IMO.
The other worry is Nahas suddenly being terrified near goal.Cant fault his effort and his preparedness to get in first but if you're not going to kick goals??

exactly, if you check previous posts of mine, you will see that im a big kingy fan but he should never have been straight back in the side, either time. when he is rushed in after an extended lay off that's what you get. but whats he supposed to say. "sorry dimma, i know you want me to play but gimme a few games in the resi's first". i blame adam maric, well that might be a a bit harsh but i guess its poor reflection on us that there isn't in pressure on the position.

Granted but to suggest that you blame adam maric is bordering on ridiculous, since maric had as much impact in one game as King has had since his return and maric was whisked away back to COburg and King still remains in the side.
The brainst trust needs a wake up call and they need to start making examples of so called first 22 "walk up starts". Because its now becoming apparent that some players are selected on what they have done in the past, and not what they do. So the "you will need to earn your spot" is being once again been shown to be BS. ;)

lol, that part about adam was a joke, suprised you didnt get my point.

but i will again state, I will not be writing kingy off, has proven everyone wrong too many times before but your more then welcome to, or just copy and paste from some old threads. send him back to vfl, that's what its there for. he'll be back to his best before we know it.

players earn credits over a period of time so that when they have a bad game or 2 they get that chance to bounce back, kingy's credits have just run out.

great context there partner, we won just about every KPI but the scoreboard...that tells me SIMPLY the guys in the front half are squandering all the good work...we're carrying players in the forward line, at least 3 ...Jack is battling but his job is made even harder coz he has no foil....He doesnt send out invites to have a marauding pack of 3 defenders at ea contest, its coz no other Tiger tall warrants any attention at all....it's a problem thats been evident since r1 ...the only change Ive seen is a rest Lids/Martin have pushed deep into the forward space which hasnt too bad...But Jack needs a chop out to get the chemistry right

I am with Coggs, King is being talked about by the commentators for all the wrong reasons........"wow look at push up throwing his weight around"........"wow he used his massive pecs to hold out that bloke".....etc......etc....etc

Time he was getting talked about in the game commentary for the right reasons, his football use and play.

Watched him last night trying to wrestle Fletcher a few times in marking contests:eek: he needs to be smarter and use his leg speed and kick some goals as a small forward rather than try and use his muscle in wrestling contests.
