As we all know King has always been limited but had a great first half on 2011. His profile is so huge that he got a jumper for Australia which he shouldn't of and did his knee. Got fit and got injured again.

He is the last player on our list that we could expect to play with injury or be rushed back from injury. In this sense the brains trust has screwed the pooch. On last nights form he should go back to Coburg and O'Hanlon or Maric should be given the opportunity. Jake would be a fantastic role model for the kids coming through at Coburg so it is a win win for the club to drop him.

He might be good enough to squeeze his way into the seniors through form and match ups during the remainder of the season but essentially by next year he should be the official Coburg Captain and his place taken by one of our 3 top draft picks or O'Hanlon or Maric.

Same will happen with Jacko but it just takes time to do it unfortunately.

Coburg awaits Kingy and I'm sure he won't let anyone down.

Jake King out, what did Riewoldt say? I'd rather the coach tell me i'm doing badly then for them to piss in my pocket. Is nobody not saying it or are they acting? Please. Make your move. If you're going to bring Vickery in tell him to do something useful. He's had a bad season to date and you want to bring him in for the hell of it? I'd rather give that forward spot to somebody who deserves it.

Surprised nahas as got of so lightly, his pass to the man on the mark when he was thirty meters out was the stuff of legends!

The brains trust obviously likes hearing his name too.

They need to take responsibility for dishing up that shit

That was so stupid, chose not to pass to a couple of free players and have a set shot, then decides he might pass it off and does some cute little chip kick:rolleyes:

We need to find some better small forwards

To be honest, the club has put added pressure on Jake by doing stuff like bringing out Push Up King merchandise. Doing that to a fringe player is just ludicrous.

A couple of points have pissed me off a bit in this thread. Firstly, we will beat the Hawks. Make no mistake. Our down game was against Port. Secondly, King was injured before pre season, and then re injured the new against Collingwood. That the commentators tug their knobs over potentual King jokes, or the club has elected to play him, or the club has elected to make some cash on a cult hero, that's not Kings issue. If he's asked to play, he will.
So it's not about the gloss, as the opposition gets weaker, and he gets a run of games, all of a sudden, i bet his form improves.
Back on the Hawks, Post and Vickery will be certain starters.

That fact that we kicked a goal from a veruca turnover is irrelavant, 30 out not taking a shot trying to pass to a bloke on a worse angle, give me a break..........tuggs hand me a card if this what teh palyers are about.

I reckon he he was worried about the distance. 30 metres is a far way for Robin. 25 is more his range.

I think the opposite. I think this will be the week that Dimma really gets stuck into the group over letting it slip, and they will come out harder than ever. Dunno if we can win, but I don't think at any stage they will look like blowing us away.
Oh it's going to be this week?
