My brother coaches a senior voleyball side. He always has interesting points to make about coaching, rotations and stuff. He declared Malthouse lost the players last year, and I poo-pooed it. He has stuck to his guns, not in a pigheaded way, but just pointing out signs (like the "all-sit-down" at 3 quarter time) as very very bad.

I'd like to think Malthouse will pick us up for some gutsy wins but there are some bad signs at the moment.

Another coach in trouble is apparently Choco. Long story short (a mates gym/the Hawks fitness fella/overheard phone converstaion)-Choco lost the players and coaching staff with his GF behaviour. He was bad for years, worse last year, and went over the top when they won it. The flag win was the signal for almost the entire coaching staff to disperse, and the ones remaining are calling the ones who left looking for jobs elsewhere.

Just a rumour of course.
