If kerr and murphy were to part ways with their clubs...
Murphy+6 for Kerr+20?
Murphy is worth more in trade value than Kerr im afraid. The kid is 21 and finished 2nd in a B/F.

Thats very funny! What do you do for an encore?Murphy is worth more in trade value than Kerr im afraid. The kid is 21 and finished 2nd in a B/F.
You obviously haven't seen him play this year but hey you guy have got jonesVery interesting that he is yet to sign, I dont care what anyone says - he should be sign, sealed - and delivered by now..
Definately have him before Gibbs, every day of the week, Murphy is a future brownlow medalist, has had a great yr this yr - and will only improve, Gibbs is going ok, but wont be anything flash..

Didn't you hear me? The kid BARRACKED for North as a kid!Add Hansen and your first rounder, and subtract Jones and your 3rd rounder, and we'll consider it.

No. Granted Kerr is a good player but he comes with huge baggage both off-field and now on-field as well (constant suspensions, question marks on his ability without Cousins and Judd).Thats very funny! What do you do for an encore?
No, Murphy is not worth more than Kerr in a trade. Murphy has finished 2nd in a B/F. Grats him. The kid will be a star one day, and I'd love to have him at WC. But Kerr has been runner up in the Brownlow twice, top 5 a third time, and is still only 25. When people talk about elite midfielders in the AFL, Kerr's name gets mentioned. Murphy's doesnt yet. Were it not for Kerr's somewhat colourful past, we wouldnt even be having this discussion.
Wouldn't trade one of Lachy Hansen's boots for Murphy.
Thats crazy!
Just buy the guy a new boot.
They wouldn't be able to afford it.

Face it. We have you in a corner. Take it, or leave it.
How do you know he barracked for North as a kid?
At any rate the suggestion that him barracking for North means that he won't re-sign with Carlton is hilarious!
The are numerous AFL players playing in team they didn't barrack for as a kid and I can't recall too many changing teams based on that alone.
Thats hilarious third rounder indeed!!
He is already worth one top five pick plus a early first rounder.
It does not matter anyway - he will re-sign with Carlton.
The delay is solely to allow Carlton more flexibility if they should sign a big name player during the trade week (eg Warnock)....
Wowza. For real? How do you know he barracked for North as a kid?

At any rate North have not got enough to get him.
At least we wouldn't resort to stealing it...They wouldn't be able to afford it.

Wonder if he's interested in moving to Perth?
Could be time for WC to get their own back!![]()
GEE you push a hard bargain ....ok Boyle and a 2nd rounderYep, that's the rumour doing the Carlton boards as well.
but still......*waits for North supporters to come in with an offer of Corey Jones + 3rd rounder*
It has been confirmed yesterday at the Carlton lunch, that Marc Murphy has re-signed with Carlton ...
and a big suffer in your jocks to all those parastie vulture clubs trying to lure him away, why would he leave a club on the rise anyway ... Esp to go to a rubbish tip like Essendon or north melbourne (the two clubs who were into him in a big way)
