the thing with Krak is he is very evasive and thats got nothing at al to do with speed or fitness thats just an innate thang you either have or you dont. Its a skill you cant really teach a young player to get. The ball can move faster than any man on a footbal field can run and krak knows its all about moving the pill quick n smart and thats his strength, his footy smarts.

i lurve it

True blxx, his skills have probably kept him in the hunt so far. But the thing is, he doesn't get much of the ball, and if he is going to try and play a semi-midfield role, no matter how much innate talent he has, he will be found wanting unless he gets fitter.

I think that what is helping him at the moment is his workrate and intensity. When he puts in the 2nd and 3rd (and 4th) efforts he is very good even without getting much of the ball.

When he has those games where he is 1-effort only he doesn't really warrant his place at the moment. If he is not at 100% then he can be found out. Little like Hyde.

I think a lot of non-RFC supporters think Krakouer = aboriginal = goal sneak. He actually was 7th in the league for tackles last year. Also 2nd at the club in clearances (4th on average).

Really hope he can develop into our number 1 rover, but as you say 13 touches a game isn't really enough.

Sadly, i just dont see Krak having the abilty to be our no. 1 rover. Perhaps with the likes of Cogs, Brown, Johnson + the kids its a good thing our deapth doesnt allow it?

If he hits his straps next season Id love to see him as a bloke playing a as forwad pocket/flanker and have runs on the ball.

He is definitely good with his 2nd and 3rd efforts but through his lack of fitness he doesn't have enough gas to strengthen his offensive side. He hardly ever makes a lead in the forward line and you rarely see him running at full tilt and having shots at goal from 35-45 metres out. He sharks the ball as well as anyone, but he doesn't run to open space much to create opportunities for himself and he struggles to mark anything above his head.

If he trained the house down I think he could make it in the midfield. But we all know it will never happen.

Krakour,s ability to tackle, get the hard ball and his natural skill warrants a gig in the midfeild however like most have said his stamina is lacking.maybe it was the past training methods or he may never have that stamina.
Like i said he has the skills to play midfeild and perhaps a more well managed plan can see him play in the midfeild.

cheers!
