Injuries will mount again for the Blues .... closer to a rebuild than another Finals appearance
Geez. Carlton are already getting pretty unlucky this preseason with their injuries. Walsh out for at least a month and Newman's season is over before it even began. Curnow is obviously hurt as well.

Not much you can do. Just really unlucky.

Still performs to a high standard even when underdone. As long as its not his back flaring up I'm not too worried about a minor hamstring or similar.

Newman is a big blow.
He'll be plagued by hammies the rest of his career. Essendon fans saw it with Winderlich unfortunately.

Winderlich's back injuries were far worse than Walsh's. He also did an ACL which meant they graphed his hamstring and had issues with it after that.

Terrible news about his issues last year in his local footy game. Some people have no luck at all.

There’s no way this blues side has peaked!

They’re just getting started according to George hewett!!

Hold on blues fans 4 peat incoming!!

But what’s that ?, don’t believe me?…..
Well just take a look at this photo comparing the 2 sides

the below image shows panthers players celebrating premiership no4 whilst the one above shows Carlton players congratulating themselves after massive win over the last placed tigers at the G last year to effortlessly slip in to premiership favouritism

The similarities are uncanny!

Coincidence?.. I think not!

Do you have images of Blues and Dockers after our game last year?

Jack Newnes hurt you real bad didn't he?

He's getting the most out of himself relative to what his body will allow. I heard a while back that despite the reports his back is 'fixed', it'll never be fixed and can only be managed.

I've learned this the hard way. 2 bulging discs last year from a tough footy season, thought it would come good but soon realised unless I work on it every day it will continue to be an issue. Apparently they tend to come good eventually but take quite a while to get right.
