Carlton with a sense of belief is still a dangerous side

To whom? And if you're right, why don't they have belief now?

Look at the following five teams they have after those two:

Geelong @ Marvel
Adelaide @ Adelaide Oval
St Kilda @ Marvel
Sydney @ SCG
GWS @ Marvel

Pretty tough run of games before the bye.

One week at a time

See in 4 weeks time.

But i do think they miss finals.

just come up short 2025.

Kind of back to the drawing board in some ways.

I tip Blues finish in 10th spot on the ladder this season.

Don't think they were expecting to be belted by 10 goals tonight. Crucial that they get some wins over the next 3-4 weeks.

Was expecting a loss but team looked like they barely got off the plane. Blues and Adelaide oval vs Adelaide is always a thumping.
Should beat the Saints outdoors next week though.

Adelaide fired up at home after a shocking game the week before, Carlton with their best win in almost 12 months (including ferocious pressure and contested work) = recipe for a Blues let down tonight.

Crows flog us whether we're fired up for it or not. But they played very well tonight vs a laconic Carlton.

True. But let's say Carlton faced Adelaide at the G the week after the Crows had a feel good win, I reckon there's a good chance the Blues would've maintained momentum.

The Blues run of fixtures over the next 6 weeks is pretty easy. Should go 4-2 or better.

The number of losses and the way the losses are made validates a lot of the early season calls made on Carlton’s list and gameplan issues.

I was one that gave them a good chance vs the Cats, but a pacey, offense-first minded Crows outfit at home was always going to exacerbate the issues they have. For the record I still think Carlton is a 7th-12th level team.

Again I think yes regarding the list peaking. It would be a major challenge to try to adapt the list to modern football, and take a big effort from Voss+assistants to actually change things up with the defensive contest-first wannabe-2021-Dees gameplan.

In theory someone like TDK leaving would be a great opportunity to reset, free cap space, take picks, change the make up of the list as you lose a ruck for others, but the big issue is he’s a FA so all you get a single pick which will change nothing in the short term.

4 - 2 gets them to 7 and 7 having played 5 games against North, West Coast and Richmond...

Has he ever gone surfing down in Torquay with Charlie and the De Koning's?

Buy the man his own beach.
He had more than enough chances to leave.
Let him wallow in an empty career like Robert Harvey.

Harsh words for a bloke who chose to stay loyal.

Sport needs more of that, not less.
Fair. He just vexes me.
Has two brownlow's and Bont has none. That's just not cricket.
