Very bad luck for Hase.

The very reason why I hate the preseason comp.

These things are far more likely to happen earlier in the season when players are still building up to match conditions.

yeah but this was no innocuous thing like malceski's injury. selwood looked to have fallen into his leg and pushed it inwards. this can happen in any game.

Fair enough, only heard the result this morning.

You're quite right, can happen anytime during the season like that.

Fact remains though that knee and hamstring inuries are more likely to occur earlier rather than later in the season.

Anyone suggesting that Hasleby shouldn't have played is clearly forgetting that Hasleby's lacked proper match fitness and a good preseason ever since he started battling his core + hernia problems. He needed to be out there to get match fit. It was just horrible bad luck.

The word on 6PR this morning was that it was not looking good, possible ACL we all know what that means, mind you it was on 6PR and apparently he is going for another scan.

This is pretty bad if its the season, this really saddens me, also for hase.... wasn't he on a performance based contract?

If it is indeed a season ending injury, then on the brighter side it may open up a rookie list spot with a long term injury, but let's hope a rookie doesn't get promoted just yet.

Barra hasn't been fed any real news since Drums departure... It's a suspected medial...

Saddens me also, the fact he had worked his butt off to get into tip top shape and then this happens. Although reports in the west suggest medial ligament, which is around the 6 week mark isn't it? Let's hope so.

Apparantly according to Barra hes had one scan and is waiting for swelling to go down to have another. At this early stage it looks like its season over for Hase but the club probably wont confirm it till Wednesday.

Once again Embers hasn't got a clue, come back with some substantiated facts. Rumours are cheap.

Hows it rumor. Barra might be a prick but hes right an amazing amount of times. He picked up Kerrs finger injury 2 days before anyone else even had a blink about it. Hes got alot of close ties with the Fremantle medical staff. Infact he was the person who broke the news about J-Los pending retirement a few months before anyone got a sniff of it.

I hope its not true as IMO Haselby was a good shot at the Brownlow given his pre season but you havr to face facts. Early signs are looking bad. What substantiated facts can a man give. Unless i scan the x-rays and post them on the site is it gonna be anything other then what we have atm.
