Tony Smith made Parliament Question Time worth watching again..even during days of lockdown here in Victoria.

How would Smith as Speaker deal with Paul Keating in QT while Keating was Treasurer or PM?

I highly doubt Hawke would have appointed a Liberal to be Speaker

In the UK its pretty much a job for life. The major parties dont run an opponent. This is to encourage them to be impartial. Has some merit.
