won 5-2 today with a 4 goal haul from a midfielder. Had a winger sent off in the 26th so my midfield ratings dropped but still managed to win the possesion each half.
 
lost 7-0 away against the team that should get promotion unless injuries ravage his squad, played my 2nd string PM's to go full strength in the cup.

fans arent too happy but will jump back on the bandwagon when we string a few W's together.
 
Disapointed with the start to my season.

Lost my first league game 0-2 and my second round cup game 1-2.

Both games I should have won but various problems stopped my team from winning.

One factor that has halted my progress is the beginning of a new training program. I stopped training defence after 4 seasons and have started training scoring (largely because of the 17 year old excellent I pulled). This has allowed me to play an attacking formation, however, with new strikers has left various gaps in my team.

Oh well I guess I will just have to wait and see how my team holds up.
 
I have noticed the drop in the amount of posts on this thread lately and I for one will admit I have posted as regulary as I would have liked to.

Been thinking of ways to spice up the forum and get some more interest in it again. At the moment I've thought of a friendly tournament for bigfooty hattrick players to see who the king of hattrick on bigfooty is. Maybe an annual tournament as it would certainly create a bit of interest and banter between users.

Anyway thats just an idea. If anyone has any others feel free to mention them.

Through to the 3rd round of the cup, not expecting to go much further though unless i play my best PM's in the cup.

my trainees MIGHT be able to get me 3 points at home, have to evaluate it before the game on sunday
 
through to the 3rd round and have a chance as my mid is stronger as he only has a wretched and ive got a weak vh/inad vl though he has a decent defence but im hoping my mid will be stong enough to counter it.
 
Can anyone suggest a quick start guide for hattrick?
 
5-1 win with scrub IM's on a PIC. Thinking about playing MOTS in the cup midweek, will need it to have any chance. TS is paradise on earth.
 
Won my cup game 5-1 at home today 2 goals each from my 2 strikers which is good and will hopefully be a sign of things to come.

Bought a new wing back but has 3 weeks on the sideline due to injury but has outstanding defending so will come straight into the side when fit.

congratulations on the cup win. i lost 4-3 in extra time to a pretty tough div V team (well, he is better than me) didnt MOTS which is good for my TS in the league now, which i can give full attention to finishing 2nd again.

was up 3-1 which is annoying to blow the lead.
 
won 5-1 but forgot to chance it from my normal league team as i have the cup match this week. I guess i could just PIC as i know im going to lose and give my b trainees some exp.

I also lost my keeper for 3 weeks so will probably just buy some shit one and then sell/fire him when my keeper is fit.

Early season struggles eh? :p

I won 6-0 today to put me in 3rd, 1 point behind 1st and 2nd.

I have 3 PIC's in a row at this stage, my next cup game and the 2 league games (god bless defender trainers. Sorry sainter. :p) after that, but depending on who i draw in the cup for Rd 5 it probablyt won't be a PIC, it should be a decent cup opponent by then.

My defensive trained is sitting undefeated on top of V.81 with an 18-3 goal difference and hopefully a good chance to win our 4th round Cup game on a PIC thanks. (It just takes a few seasons for us to warm up :o)

With a game against new team on Sunday and then my biggest challenger for the title the following week I might take the risk and PIC my cup game. If I can win it and make the 5th round I will have PIC'd 5 times out of 6 going into the big game.
 
3-0 win at home against the 2nd strongest team, got my highest hatstat rating which is nice to see.

5 teams are now on 3 wins, so it is pretty tight.

Haha, you know I didn't even realise that you had changed your name and that was your team. :o

FC Crouchzinho are on top of the ladder and face our major challenger on the weekend. I'm at home but truth be told I'm probably overacheiving a bit at the moment. By the end of the season I reckon I'll finish about 3rd. Ended up PIC'ing my 4th round Cup game and lost. I think I could have won it had I played it normal but my TS is at walking on clouds which should help me for sunday.

Got to say I'm impressed with the recent changes to the Youth Academy as well. I promoted a player yesterday, an 8.5 star 17 yo defender, and he was promoted with a TSI of 770. Very happy with that.

Fair player! Nice boost to all the players by the looks of it. Going to keep him or sell him?
 
Well I finished with a 2-2 result against my major rival for the title.

I was at home and he dominated possession with 57% and 64% in each half so I'll very happily take the draw.

Leaves our teams at the top of the table with 13 points. Our closest rivals are on 9 points so we've opened up a bit of a gap.
 
Owned a relegation cantidate 5-0 away on PIC, got 91% & 96% of the ball without my best PM who was facing a red card ban.
 
drew 4-4 at home PICing against the top team. I didnt think I had much chance so I PICed the game.

My defenders have been getting injured and carded so im now playing one of my trainees there in the league games and then just having the 2 defenders in the friendlies.
