I only just got promoted last season from VI (after being demoted from one of the hardest V leagues) and at this rate I will be put into IV!

It's between me and two other teams atm who are both a game behind me, but both of them play against each other this week and then I play one of them twice in a row.

I really don't want to get promoted anyway, I'm in a very easy V league and I doubt a team that averages 150 hatstats will stay long in IV.

nice 3-0 win at home on a PIC. Checked hatstats, got a 72 midfield rating.

equal 1st on 15 points, a game from 3rd who i play next 2 weeks away then home.

Good to see everyone is winning. :D

I'm sitting 1st in my div after today's game, Band of Hawks drew with last placed Mad_Max 0-0 while i won 3-0 to take top spot. Can't believe my 1st season in div IV really, considering looking at hatstats my div is continually in the top 5 for the week. (2nd this week)

20-1-1 in my last 22 games, although i think im up for a loss on Wedensday in the cup, i play div II team Pistol Knightz. :(

I had a narrow 3-2 win to remain undefeated but I've dropped to second place on goal difference.

Myself and Leviapool FC are on 16 points with the third and fourth placed teams on 10 points so it looks to be a raise in two.

Things are about to start getting a lot more difficult with suspensions and and injuries starting to kick in.

Whatever happens, I'm well ahead of where I'd thought I'd be and I'd like to have a big crack at promotion next season.

Any of you blokes playing buzzerbeater or battrick?
I'm on battrick. Struggling towards the latter stages of the First Class season. Had top spot until last week. Should lose this match. Damn bowlers are fatigued.

I copped a 7 week injury to my keeper as i stumbled out of the cup.

On the brightside i won my league game 3-2 and am still at the top. I just need my keeper back quick smart to make sure i stay there.

I locked first place for FC in after round 13, have a 45 run lead. Playing 2nd placed side away round 14, going to declare 200 runs ahead with today to bowl them out again on a green pitch, sunny day 3rd day in a row.

Expecting a tough time in FC div IV next season. Luckily my div V OD league isnt too tough so I am ensured 3rd place by playing my 2nd stringers.

Great to see so many HT fans on here. I love it been playing for 5 seasons now at am sitting 2nd in DIV V.118

We talk plenty of hattrick on SEN during our program One Week At A Time. If your keen have a listen and give us a call always happy to talk about it.

This week one of the game MODs and the Oceania U/20 coach Kitto will be on our show and previous we have spoken to Kiwi cricketer Mark Gillespie who won the Oceania Cup a couple of seasons back.

HT is quite possibly the most addictive thing I have ever got into it's great!

I'm not sure how many seasons I've been in but it is addictive. I haven't had much time for it since I started fulltime work so interest has waned a bit. Currently sitting 2nd in IV.1 but wont be there for much longer.

Luke, I tried signing up for the OWAAT forums and said it sent me an email confirmation but never received it!

Welcome aboard coachnoodles

Heard your interview with Mark Gillespie a while back which was great.

what day and time is the program on SEN?

We are on Saturday nights from 7pm - 1am atm. Sometimes we start a little later if the A-League is on. The hattrick chat is scattered radomly through out the program. We also set up a our own youth league and I started an SEN federation for those with HT Supporter.

The shows website (not sure if i am allowed to put the link in so i won't) also has a big HT community abd we have plenty of links and disussion about various aspects of the game. At the minute we have a couple of Div IV guys on there plus a bunch of us in V and then a heap more in VI so there is a nice might of new players and experienced ones there to talk things over.

Just PM me if you want anymore details

Also keen to know what the thoughts on the new Youth System is on here. I am a massive fan and have been getting great results and these sentiments have been echoed by quite a few others although there are a few mates i have that don't like it at all. (appologies if this has alreay been done to death)

I thought the new youth acadamy sucked. I ended my involvment with it after the 1st season of having it, 12 weeks i think. The yp's were pretty awful too (who wants a solid winger with wretched for everything else?) but with the changes involving the skill boost not long ago i think it has probably taken a turn for the better. MAybe i should have stuck with it. :p

PS. you can post links on here.

Yeah i got one decent YP out of the new system but since the changes i am going really well. I have had a couple of blokes that i have sold for over 400k and now have 5 IM's that are 5+ stars and all looking like they will coume out at around solid. A couple of them are quite young as well so i should be able to get some decent secondaries training into them as well.

For anyone that wants to check out our little HT community it's in the forums here

played my scrubs in the league on PIC but still won 5-0

equal 1st in my div V league, 2nd on GD - dont think I will promote & dont really want to for another season, but that being said if the opportunity is there i am grasping it with both hands.

if you can finish 1st and get a qualifier even better. at least that way you can see what div V you may head into and go from there. If it's a reasonable one you think you can do well in, go for it! if not, no shame in throwing the match to stay down. and the added bonus is you'll get gate reciept's for the game too. :thumbsu:

seems like everyone is getting decent yp's from the youth acadamy now.

me? I haven't sold a youth pull that's fetched at least 100k in about 10 months. and i've only sold 6 youth pulls for over 100k in the last 2 years. :thumbsd:

will check out the link later. cheers.

If you have a coach with good leadership, I recommend you start the season playing PIC and use that every single match to keep the team spirit high. I always use PIC until the very last game of the season.

The first cup game is always pretty easy.

If anyone wants to play me in a friendly, challenge me! My team id is 37143.

I regularly get about 4000 or so to my friendly games so it's some good $$. Just drop me a HT-mail so I know you're from BigFooty and I'll accept your challenge over another person.

Made a player a passable coach at the end of last season, has passable leadership so he is reasonable at getting the TS high.

I screwed up & got automatic promotion to div IV – the league was one of the easiest this season because of 1 really crap team, but next season I am screwed.

Only have 2.1m in the bank, not enough for the WC striker my team will need. Prob wont get away playin PIC every game as well.

Was hoping to get a decent cup run next season in div V to get the $$ up to a decent level to improve my striker & winger. Wish me luck

I won my league (V.81) and have my qualifier on Sunday.

My ratings are higher than my opponent but he has home ground advantage. I'd be disappointed if I didn't get through but when you are relying on the Hattrick match engine anything can happen.

If I get through I think I'd have a reasonable shot of staying up. Unlike my V league which was rated the 4th toughest last season and 7th toughest this season, IV.37 is ranked 50th out of the 64 leagues.
