ever been on the bottom of the table at the end of a premiership round??

according to allthestats.com we have never been in sixteenth place, but that doesn't take into account 1991-1994 when there were 15 teams, and 1987-1990 when there were 14 teams.

But i'd say we were never in last during that stage, except perhaps 1989???????

Yes, in 1989 we finished 14th (last) during 11 rounds of that season.

These were our ladder positions after each round.

This site is awesome, during 1991 the only ladder place we occupied for the WHOLE season was 1st. We didn't even drop to 2nd at any point during the WHOLE season.

Also, interestingly, during 1992, we didn't occupy top spot at ANY time during the season.

ahhh bugger, but i guess we can't have everything.......

that 91/92 stat is actually quite interesting, and something i'm sure most people aren't aware of.

Damn....lucky we picked it up in the last month and a half of the season or we too would have a dreaded wooden spoon!

we were absolutely awesome during the 91 season. pity we could get over the line against hawthorn. losing gave us the hunger to get through to 92 though.
