I'd be very surprised if you didn't already have a sports psychologist working with the club, in fact I'd be surprised if any AFL club didn't have one at least consulting with certain players on the list. Richard Tambling mentioned in a recent article that he'd spent some time talking to one and found it very productive.

Yes we HAD.. but that is being erradicated as we speak.

Judd and Hadley are two that will greatly help, and no doubt Ratten will put his 2 cents worth in as well.

We are inexperienced but that's life... I still remember in our glory days season where we lost our first couple then stormed home to make finals (94 IIRC think we lost our first 3).

95 we lost 2 in a row to the 2 bottom sides... it happens... Richmond beat Collingwood late last year.. there are so many instances things like this happen... we lost Round 1.. lets not let it dampen the other 21plus games we may play this year. There will be joyful moments for us soon enough.
lol.

yes, you have...

...it's true that you're on a long losing streak but nothing fixes that syndrome quicker than a couple of wins

you've got new guys in the group, a couple only half fit and a general lack of experience on the field or in the box and snapping the streak might seem light years away but you've got plenty to work with

Brisbane were in a similar spot for 7-8 rounds last year...we forgot how to win but stuck at it until the players had had enough of 'respectable' losses and caused a boilover at Subiaco v WC despite very long odds - we then went on to play some good footy and win five straight

don't believe the hype over your recruits, your win will come when the mid-tier players collectivly step up - if last night's loss stung the players as much as it did the fans, then only good will come of it and your 'turning point' will come

peace

Yes we have developed a losing culture, things are slowly improving but I can't help but notice a lot of Blues fans on this board are too ready to make excuse for crap. And the worse thing is that they seem to trot out the same excuses year in year out.

NO WAY!
Carlton will always have a winning culture. We have the trophies to prove it.
Lately we have just not been good enough. That is not a culture but a fact and we all know the reasons why. The worm will turn!

What after winning 22 games in 7 years?

Nooo, carlton have a winning culture.
Worst 7 years in AFL/VFL history (worst the Fitsroys last 7)

hahaha
Carlton = poooooooooooooooooo:thumbsu:
