Garry Lion et al claimed this morning that Nathan told Bomber before the match that he was not playing, not because of injury, but because he just didn't want to.
We've all suffered stage fright at one time or another, and if we're honest with ourselves, have probably put off / not done / done half-heartedly something that we're scared of or nervous about because of our apprehension and self-doubt.
For Nathan, this is obviously a bigger problem than for most (whether or not this claim is true).
I therefore ask:
1. Do you think he pulled out because he was overawed with the situation?
2. Do you think Bomber and co can help him overcome it?
3. Is it worth the effort when lists are so tight and his short-notice absence upsets our delicate forward structure?
