I would like to remind Dan25 when the Blues knocked off Essendon, they were missing SOS, Bradley and Kouta, and just because you beat a second rate side that played above themselves in Hawthorn, and you dumped another pretender in Richmond a few weeks ago you think the bombers are invincible. Well you are wrong, nobody likes a smart arse, and i suspect come rnd 15, a certain team from sleepy hollow will kick the Bombers into oblivioin.

Hmm, i reckon your backline can be exploited as well. Ben Graham kicked 4 on Fletcher if i remember correctly last year, and burns can play well against any side. Probably the defenders like Sholl, Sanderson, Scarlett and Harley have to lift but anything's possible. But to say that Essendon are automatic certs for the game is a attitude that could become their undoing.

actually Essendon is better than Man U because we've had the majority of our success under the constraints of a salary cap and national drafts etc. Man U while developing alot of their players from youngsters have the benefit of an endless bankroll to keep them- although you'd have to say Chelsea has been far more shameless in this dept really.

Essendon are a great side, and as Geelong4Eva has pointed out, there is a flaw in their ruck department. And it's a very tiny flaw at that.

Ruck is the only position were Essendon wouldn't have a player, who could arguably be in the top 5 in the competitioin for that position.

Everywhere else, they are dominating.

Actually you blatently rorted the salary cap for several years before getting caught. Both of last year's Grand Finalists were the biggest salary cap cheats (that got caught anyway) in the AFL.

I'm not sure how good some of these guys have been going this year, but if i had to pick the best 5 ruckman in the competition, i would chose: Primus, Ottens, King, Stafford and Jeff White.

Gardiner, Barnes, Clarke, McDonald, Gale would probably be the next best 5.
