Have only really won tickets to things

Won some Tooheys Extra Dry thing to Good Vibrations
Have Won glory tickets through the west footy tipping

and last night i won the 882 sports quiz, thought i won 4 tickets to the perth scorchers T20 games but called today to confirm and it was the Hopman Cup.

The old man scored a hole in one years ago and won a set of golf clubs and a trip to melbourne to watch the eagles play the blues. We lost

At our local every beer you buy on Saturday from midday gives you a raffle ticket. The winning prize was a carton of beer to take home, bonus prize if you were still there at 6 when they drew the raffle, you get a free carton of beer to drink at the pub over the course of the next week.

Long story short, me and some mates won, but didn't quite understand the competition to the extent of the last 7 words of the above paragraph.

So long story short between three of us after being on the beers for 6 hours got a free carton we were under the impression had to be drunk in the next few hours. Best kind of pressure there is.

My copy of the match program at an Eastside Spectres game in 1991 had Bruce Bolden's autograph on page 12 so I won a showbag with Big M merchandise. Being 8 years old at the time it was pretty cool. not so much now.

My sister won a good one on Nova this year - 10 tickets to a Marquee at the races, limo pick-up and drop-off and $2k of Westfield vouchers.

An orange juice in a random draw prize when 10 :o

At some Kidfit triathlon. There were phones, bikes and wetsuits on offer, it got down to drink bottles, then OJ, and I was the last called out...

Best thing I won was a trip to the e3 expo in L.A
At work I won an Olympus waterproof camera and a slr camera.

My late mum won the 1st breast cancer raffle with was a yellow vw beetle. Was kinda ironic as she was suffering from breast cancer at the time. Funny that she had to sell the car cos being only 4ft10 the couldn't reach the pedals.

Some good wins in here :thumbsu:

We won our Playstation1 from the Home Icecream van. Brought a box of icecreams and filled out some little form thing as was the procedure and walked away not thinking about it again until a few month later the ice cream truck pulls up out the front and the dude just drops the Playstation off.

Also won a pair of decent sunglasses from DR. Pepper back in the day when there was the 1 in 2 chance of winning another DR. Pepper (which everybody won a fair few of at those odds) thing going on.

The last thing I won was free dry-cleaning for three rooms. I'd only just moved in to my new place though and the offer expired before I really needed it, so I never got the dry-cleaning.

There are some crazy people when it comes to competitions though. I once saw a guy at Werribee Plaza (where I worked) stuff around 50 forms into one of those 'Win a car' promotions and later on that night saw the same guy at Highpoint filling in a stack of forms for a free holiday.

I rang up for a quiz that they had on ABC radio when I was 12, quite a few years ago, after having listened to it for a few weeks. Manage to get all my answers right and won a T-shirt, something else and respect and adulation from the public...no wait, I imagined that last one..

Won a week long road trip to Melbourne for me and two mates, visiting various country towns, pubs, sightseeing etc etc, then two nights accommodation in the CBD and flights back home.

Won a table tennis table lol

Won $1000 on the radio

And have won a carton of beer and three cartons of wine.

Would prefer to win the lottery. The old man won div 3 in the late 90's was about 30k , the old girl won 20k in a charity draw a few years back (but she's probably broken even after all her losing tickets over the past 30 years!)

Guy came round the other day selling raffle tickets for some orphaned children in Africa.

Didn't enter. Knowing my luck i'd probably win one.

Interesting Drakescoffeecake...has anyone on here won Tattslotto? If so, are you willing to tell how much?

motorola rokr phone - arias were on in the background while i was on the net, heard the comp, sent the email away and won. when i got the email saying i had won, i thought it was a scam, lol.

havent won anything else of significant value from what i remember

I won $1,600 on one hand of blackjack at Canberra Casino playing the $5 table.

When I was 12 or 13 I won a pinball machine in a pinball wizard competition at the local bowling alley. A bloke stepped straight out of the crowd and offered my $500 cash for it, which I took. He was from a local soccer club.

I won tickets to the Australian Open tennis at a raffle after playing cricket one Saturday. I went the following day, it was stinking hot and was the day that John McEnroe defeated Emilio Sanchez in the marathon 5 setter. (the tickets were originally won off 3AW by someone from the opposition club who donated them to be raffled.)

I won 2 tickets to a Lions game and a Lions jersey around 6 or 7 years ago. They had a competition on their website, and I was the only one to enter it. :P

I've won heaps of stuff through competitions, the most recent a week ago.

Aunty wins absolutely everything. From movie tickets to a car. It's not just down to luck or anything, she just puts her and our names in everything.

Pretty much most of the stuff i've won is down to her putting my name in. Won me a few Footy clinics, think it was held at the WACA back in the day. Met heaps of players like Benny Cousins, Stewart Loewe etc. Really good fun.
Won a cricket bat signed by the WA team (when it was actually good with the likes of Hogg, Martyn, Hussey, Gilly).

If AFL tipping is included as a competition, at primary school I won the school wide comp. Prize was 1k and 2-4 (one or the other) tickets to the GF with accommodation etc. At the end of it when we won they said not enough people went in the competition to give us the GF tickets, etc. They gave us the 1k though which we used for a trip to Bali I don't really remember much.

Won a quiz at a high school camp, team name was lost property. Had an odd team, I wouldn't consider any of the team members including myself to be that smart, but we beat all those academic types.
