i will be having a minor surgical procedure done on thursday july 1st 2010. will be having a doctor look inside my stomach (as i have been having pain since november/december 2009). its not a bad pain (a 2 or 3 on a scale of 1 to 10) but the doctor would like to look inside of there that day. will let you all know on the 2nd or 3rd what is wrong. IF anything would to happen and i would to die on the table, i will be having some tell the kangaroos know of my death (i know nothing will happen but i been told the risks by the doctor).

Is it really necessary to post this sort of stuff on here?

The last time I had a look inside my stomach was the morning after a particularly large night out and it involved copious quantities of of tequila with late night Indian food for good measure.

My stomach contents came out for viewing involuntarily, no need for any internal examination.

Alright, I'll tape the ****ing games for you!!!!!!

Lol

Timmy, I'm sure you'll be fine mate. If it's a gastroscopy you're having, although ALL surgical procedures carry a risk element, it's a fairly routine check.

Let's hope the news is good, the problem found, and that it's easily treatable.

I doubt we'll be recruiting pallbearers for you anytime soon.

All the best with it anyway. Stay positive :thumbsu:

I've sent the club an email asking them to run through a "Good Luck Timmy" banner on Friday night.

Unfortunately, they've already got a different message planned, but I'm sure you'll still be in everyone's thoughts buddy :thumbsu:

Operation in USA = bad news. Go to Switzerland or Germany, survival chances will increase

Great news Timmy, and all the best for the pathology results.

Chris Hunt said these babies have been selling like hotcakes at the Roo Shop over the past few weeks......

Good luck, Timmy. "Polyp" is such a nasty word isn't it?
Doesnt sound as nasty as having a camera jammed up your arse...lucky cameras these days are quite small.

Mate, I dont think that was a doctor you went to, id look at filing a lawsuit. I reckon it would be easier to get to the stomach via the mouth after all.

Also.. Polyp? when I studied those in Uni a polyp was an infant stage of a jellyfish type animal. What do you guys eat over in america Timmy!

You're not going to see too much of the large intestine by placing a camera down someones mouth.

It sounds to me as if timmy had a procedure known as a colonoscopy.

If you live long enough, you will most likely end up having one as well.

5 yearly annual check ups would go a long way towards keeping bowel cancer at bay.

He didnt say anything about the large intestine though. He said "Stomach pain" therefore I assumed the camera would be used to look at his stomach lining

the doctor got back with me a few days ago and he said everything is ok.
