Lets not be silly here, we do have a pretty little cup in the cabinet.

Tigs - best young backline going around (would kill to have one of Thursfield, McGuane or my favourite Moore) and this with a good midfield (still needs some work, but showing signs) is where your success will come from. Just a serviceable forward line which hopefully Hughes, Morton and little Roo can develop into. Midfield goals from Deledio etc will be important. Your man Terry, I'm not a fan of him but did manage to completely out coach Clarko this year, both times really, we got away with the first one.

Look forward to some great contests in years to come, but i hope we get back to beating you next year.

come on now. i would say it is 50/50 the old hawks vs tigs threads. nothign wrong with a bit of a too and fro.

as for bumping threads (which will surely be brought up) a lot of hawks fans bit their lips knowing the typical geleong response of "we were premiers, you'se choked" (despite us making finals for the first time in 6 years and winning one final, losing another) and decided to hopefully use it against them (i think most of us expected to bow out in the prelim but have the cats lose also)
