1 year difference, but I'd say it's even because Hawkins has played a lot more football than Tippett, and they have very similar strength bodies so it's not like one is much more advanced than the other.

Tippett has more X-factor about him, both will be exceptional players though.

Hard to split , but.. If Tippett and Hawkins were to swap guernseys i would have Tippett on top.

Tippett is good and will be really good, Hawkins is rubbish and won't last.

It's hard to split them, but the aspect where Tippett wins out is his footy smarts and mobility. Hawkins is deficient in both of these things.
Both will be guns but Hawkins has a lot of similarities to plugger at the same age and I reckon he is the more pure footballer and is suited to full forward.

Good point. I've only seen a handful of Hawkins, but have been impressed with Tippett's consistency and knack for taking contested marks. He's also shown to be a good lead and has the ability to contest in the ruck as CC pointed out.

Hawkins is the better footballer like stevedarui noted and would have been a top three pick if he wasn't tied to the Cats.

Tippett is more than just another bright prospect. He would have played only about 50 footy games in his life but already is showing in 8 games of AFL that he is going to be a star. The Crows should sign him up for 5 years now to keep him safe from the Gold Coast.
