Hawks 2013 forward line

Was this the greatest forward line of all time?

Buddy - 1,066 goals
Rough - 578 goals
Gunston - 450 goals*
Cyril - 275 goals
Puopolo - 185 goals
Breust - 520 goals*

Most of these guys were a complete menace defensively.

Breust might be the most underrated player in AFL history.

All of them were elite at ground level (maybe not Gunston but he held his own).

If there’s better, it’s still a hawthorn one

Didn’t go so bad in 2016 with no recognised key just McEvoy and Ceglar rotating 30 goals

Gunston 51 Bruest 47 Rioli 47 Puopolo 34 Sicily 30

1986 grand final starting forward line:

Buckenara, Brereton, Kennedy.
Curran, Dunstall, Platten. Abbott on interchange. Tony Hall was named on the wing.

Peter Curran an under rated player. IIRC in the early 80s in the 2nds or 3rds he was CHF with Derm and G Ablett Snr on the HFF…

Paul Abbott was huge that day. If Curran is underrated, Abbott is pretty much forgotten.
