Don't pity us - most of us have seen as many premierships in the last 20 years than the Saints will win in 500 years if they keep going at their current rate.

And yes, all the win does is put us off the back page. Hopefully Melbourne will lose tomorrow so a few of the media actually realise how much they have underachieved this year.

Give 'em a break! They won against quality opposition after some near misses - maybe this will be the catalyst to turn their season around.

IMO, it is good to see Victorian teams like the Hawks and Saints defeat more 'fancied' interstate opposition.
From a perspective of state Vs state rivalry, it is a good thing to see 2 wins and a draw come from from 3 of the Vic vs other states games this weekend.
i'm glad Crawford played a good game - it's never nice to get a pastring in the media, but it is sweet to prove 'em wrong and play a great game (personal experience from this season!)
