Yet another close one we could have won again but we fumble or slip over at crucial moments. We used to win those. Beyond frustrating. Our skills are just not clean enough under pressure for large parts of games and its killing us.

Don't even get me started on gettable shots like Hawkin's and Parsons ( useless spud again) last one that we keep missing. How the fk was that not 50 metres at the end after Mitchell boots it away, not to mention a couple of in the backs. We finish strong but always leave it too late. Can we possibly put a fkin 4 quarter game together soon??

Didn't help we had Stanley down either. Should have had Abbott in as well instead of that spud Parsons. Ablett was magnificent, he rarely lets you down or wastes a disposal unlike half our team.

Need to flog Freo and Gold Coast now and hope one of teams on 48 loses at least 2 games

Not good enough unfortunately. Scoreline wasnt a true reflection of how much better they were. Same as the last Hawks game.
We had no realistic chance when we lost Stanley anyway. Should of played 2 ruckmen.
Also we're completely carrying a couple of players too. I know Fog is a first yearer but we cant keep playing him. Offers nothing.
Same was true about Parsons today.

How does Duncan play like his hands are covered in lubricant for 3 quarters and then suddenly turn back into his silky self? I don’t know if our players just pick-and-choose or if they are fundamentally borked in the head.

As I said in the gameday thread - what is the definition of insanity? We just keep failing in the same ways for the same reasons and nothing ever changes.

The culture is rubbish, the leadership is rubbish. Look at the coaching group, is there one yr12 diploma between them all?

Only at the smell of failure will this club ever work at it's hardest. The club is a pretender. The leaders refuse to address our poor defensive efforts for sustained periods, even Mooney mentioned it today on the coverage, which was great.

Ablett and Dangerfield were fantastic, our talent level is high in many, but our fringe are soft, very soft. Expectations are low. The Hawks have an inferior list, they just our hustled us, out worked us. Wanted it more. Our 2nd quarter is worthy of none of them earning match payment.

Coach and / or coaching staff need to go. Get some people in there who actually understand management / leadership.
