Yerp. I believe there's only 1 current day player who was picked as an U18 AA Full Back who is currently playing that role in the AFL and that's De Koning at Geelong.

List decisions are going to be tough as there isn’t a lot separating lots of the boys on what they can provide going forward. They will have to go line by line and decide if we have to much depth in certain positions.

As a CHF he looks a ready made CHB. 100% should be played in defence. Tried very hard today, applied pressure, tackled, put his body on the line, he's just not a forward. Not many forwards will kick bags on him.

I thought DGB was outstanding. Stats won't show it but his kicking was sublime and his positioning in defence and defensive work A1. He just knows how to play as a defender.

At some point someone at the club will eventually figure out that he's a defender and might just play him there.

I wonder if some self awareness will be shown and he might request to go back as it’s his natural position. He just know his spot on list is gonna be short lived as a fwd

Weird how they played him there in his 1st year, but nobody bothered watching!

You’d think so. It’s a real head scratcher.

The kid tries his heart out every game, no question. He is built like Tarzan, is tough as nails, good in the air, competes well, he's quick and I doubt anyone ever kicks a bag on him.

Someone, just play him at FB for 10 games. What do we have to lose? We’re getting pumped every week anyway.

All they need to do is line him up against Lewis at training (good ol fashion one on one’s) and count how many touches Lewis gets it. I’m tipping Mitch wins one out of ten. We know that Kozi does two things very well - Compete and he has discipline.

Now, if he's all at sea playing FB (which I highly doubt) and can't handle pressure (which I doubt) then the club can re-assess.

I agree, he's a defender more than he's a forward, but suggesting that nobody knows or had tried him as such is a bit silly - he was drafted as one...

I think it will be much clearer by the end of the season.

For mine the obvious ones are Kosi, Wingard, Maginness and Worpel. Either trade or delist. But we seen what they can offer and in Wingards case he’s cooked, the others simply not up to it. Morrison lucky

I think we need 1 or maybe even 2 solid senior guys brought in next season

Feels backwards given we got rid of Titch and JOM, but I reckon a 30-32 year old tall who’s been delisted e.g. like Suns did with Casboult.

I wouldn’t want them taking games from our future stars, so I’d want a delisted guy who’s happy to play VFL.

A big key forward marking option would be so nice to have down the line at the moment. This would both help us not get smacked by 80 points and also give another mentor for our young keys.

He's good at spoiling marking attempts.

Unfortunately they are generally his own.

Very rarely gets out marked. That’s what I meant by good in the air.

Granted he doesn’t catch it himself too often but neither does his opponent and if he’s halving contests in the backline and sinking his fist into the ball nobody will be kicking 7 goals on him.

I thought it meant he wouldn't be able to be selected for 10 weeks, but then available.

He is not a defender not agile enough. He has good speed in a straight line but can't twist and turn as effectively IMO. Its forward or bust and judging from yesterday he needs the boys to get around him because he has lost all confidence in himself
