Hawks Logo - Help Please

Hi Guys,
I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm looking for a high resolution graphic of the Hawks logo.
I want to be able to print it out and stick it on stuff, namely my arcade machine and driving simulator.
At the moment they are jet black but I think I should paint them brown and stick the Hawks logo, which is predominately gold, on the sides of them.

So if anyone knows where I could potentially get a high res version I'd appreciate it

Thanks MM but will these 'blow' up to about 12"x12"?

Looking at the properties of the latest logo it's 96dpi. Wouldn't it need to be a lot higher so I could make it larger and still look good?

depends on the program you are using.

Paint will distort the image.

If you have photo shop, expand from the corner out with the same length and width, and when finished it will re-configure the ratio to give you a clear image.

The same goes for Microsoft Word 2007 (or later). Expand from the bottom, click off the image and it will re-configure.

Give me 10 minutes Hawkers and I'll give you some links to my photobucket account - files are 705 x 650mm @ 300dpi in both RGB & CYMK and all should have transparency (for the effect you are looking for) - you won't have to edit them.

Hmmmm, downsized it on me - send me you email by PM and I'll send them to you or alternately - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hawthorn-football-club-brand.svg open up the 2000px version in Photoshop and resize it to your desired size and 300dpi - it will hold up fine - but just remember to save it in a format that supports transparency.

What you want is an EPS file, which means, being vector art you can upscale as much as you need without loss of quality. I'll see if I can dig one up. You'll need Photoshop or elements though.

Why don't you just find a picture of a map of Tasmania and paint a brown and gold hawk in the middle? It would look pretty much the same as the tribute to our almighty sponsor that masquerades as our current "logo".
