Hawk's run home....

Ok, I was just reading the posts on whether or not the 'wheels' have fallen off at our happy team on the AFL board. It made me curious as to how our run home is. Our run home is as follows......

Richmond (MCG)
Sydney (MCG)
Collingwood (MCG)
Carlton (MCG)
Fremantle (CS)
Melbourne (MCG) (N)
Western Bulldogs (MCG)
Adelaide (FP)
St Kilda (MCG) (N)

Looking at this, our last 5 games are winable IMO. Adelaide and the Bulldogs will be obstacles (never underestimate the other three as well), however I believe that if they result in wins we will be charging into September with 5 wins in a row and a couple of handy scalps. Hopefully our trend of finishing with a bang will continue this season.

lets just wait and see until we jump to conclusions, but you're right it does look like we might be able to win those five games if we really finish off well. It'll be interesting to see how Melbourne are faring at the time we play them. You never know, they might have stormed back into form by that stage of the season and could be on their way to the finals, just like last season, so watch out Hawks. I have confidence in our boys though. GO HAWKS!!.

 

[Pessimistic]

A nice (and reasonably likely) finish would be to take 2 wins (at least) from the next four ad then repeat the strong finish to the season like the last 2 years. that would be 9 plus 7 wins or 16 in total.

It will be tight for the top four so wins against Richmond Collingwood and Carlton will definately help.

On current form we would 'lose' our first final but could get a good run from theron.
