Hawks, Tiges match coverage?

Apparently 7 are not covering this match, and I was wondering if anyone knows whether the game will have cameras and commentary at it at all (ie: pay tv). More importantly, is the game being covered on the AFL website?

WC v NTH Freo v Melb and Port v Ess

I think 7 is going easy on the footy as there was a belief that last year the Ansett Cup was "overexposed" whatever that means.

For Rd2 though all games apart from the Dogs v Lions match is on Pay TV and the Hawkers are on live live live so hook up and Hawk on!

Well I for one would much rather watch the Golf in comparison with the Ansett Cup. Even if Melbourne was involved it would still be the Golf. It's an internatinal event on comparison with a practice match. Perhaps I am just saying this becasue I am a huge Golf fan. I'm sure most of you would probably hate golf.

I rang the Richmond football club asking what the options were. The answer – a big fat ZERO! Not televised, not on C7, not to be replayed at a later time, not on in any pubs, Nothing. All I can hope for is the scores on the telly during the evening news.

I don’t have a huge issue with 7 showing the golf in preference but would’ve expected C7 to pick up the slack – even if they did delay it for a few hours or so.

Pretty piss poor really.

Exactly CJH. I can understand 7's preference to telecast the last round of the Masters ahead of a practice match. But a delayed replay somewhere (Frieda Air or pay tv) isn't really asking that much. Especially considering the game is in Tasmania

I mean they can hardly use their "well if you want to see it then go to the game" excuse can they?
