GC have had our measure in recent years, most have been beltings. Another big test for the lads.

Suns never won in Tasmania. It would be nice if Suns midfield finally clicks but I doubt it will be in this game.

Hawks by 31.
You're forgetting that Petracca has never played in Launceston. He's also never lost as a Sun and has been best on ground in every game he's played this year. That's a huge factor that's never been present in any other Suns games in Tassie.

It's true. Hawthorn have only beaten us once in their last six attempts. Interestingly, four of those six games were played on neutral territory in Darwin, Launceston or Sydney (COVID) so we rarely play each other on our actual home grounds and that trend continues this weekend.

Not forgetting at all. How could I forget our best player so far.

Even with Petracca we were still belted in the middle. Will it click on the road where we are still mostly ordinary? I doubt. A lot of players are still not in great form and synergy in the middle needs work.

Happy to be surprised. It would be a major step forward for Suns.

Reeves and Meek look like a big challenge for Suns. Let's see how Suns approach them. Will Moyle play?

I suspect Noah will play. So basically the strongest line-up for Suns.

Tassie will help even the playing field after the AFL's dodgy MRP tribunal rigging process. Should be tight, but a tight loss won't mean the Hawks aren't on track for contention, given the Logan Evans suspensions.

We're definitely not a finished product. Plenty of room for improvement. However, I'd like to think the Anderson + Rowell + Petracca trio would be able to match it with any midfield in the league and this will likely be the first time we ever see the three of them playing together.

One of our biggest challenges is finding ways to stop/lessen the impact of Watson and Gunston. If we can prevent either/both of them from kicking multiple goals then I think we have a really good chance of winning this game.

What's your tip?

Unless we improve in the middle we lose. Suns were 17th for clearances differential before Bombers game and lost clearances again.

Witts/Mac vs Reeves/Meek could turn into disaster for Suns.

I think it's too early to tip because I don't know if Noah Anderson is playing.

There's no doubt we have to improve in the middle. Hopefully it clicks this week.

Suns lucky to meet us at a time when we're missing a few key players.

(Only saying that because that's what people have said about us every time we've played someone this year - I think Suns get up by 2-3 goals due to their superior midfield).

Our midfield on paper is elite but isn't in good form atm.
