sydney, freo, cats all have the easiest draws. I dont understand it considering they were top 4 sides last year, yet hawks get r*ped.

If Hawthorn make the 4...Respect. Unfortunately for u guys can't see it happening.
We have been r*ped with the fixture for 5 years now.

We lose this week and I think season is pretty much gone. But I rekon Clarko should instruct every player to go out and in the first seconds of the game, turn to their opponent and eye guage them. You dont get weeks for it as the AFL/MRP have well and truly set a precedent. So go for your lives boys, its part of the game now. And if questioned, just plead that your opponent allegedly tried to choke you.

Made me laugh... then cry :(

Would rather see Suckling personally as it frees him up a little. Litherland reads the game exceptionally well and seems to mop up a lot of balls in defence. Reckon he's a more natural backman than Suckers

And Schoey... It's what happens when guys that learn to be defenders throughout their junior days, go on to be AFL level ones (sigh).

Wow. I'd say he has all the tricks.
yeah, when playing insignificant bottom sides or the game is beyond doubt. Don't kid yourself, he only showed up when Port were done the other week. When the game was in the balance, he was too busy trying to be pretty. He's one of the biggest downhill skiers in the AFL.

Heading over with a crew on Thursday afternoon.
Any idea for a designated hawk pub in the Adelaide CBD that can be used as a meeting point for a session on Friday prior to the game?
Also, which side of the hill do opposition (hawk) supporters tend to congregate?

Hate these morons. Looking for Roughy to have a huge game. Poppy has had a very ordinary month. He could be due for a rest. Smash them out of the middle, straight down the guts. Gunston to show them what they have lost.

Harry's Bar (the upstairs bar) is pretty close to the ground and decent drink specials. http://www.harrysongrenfell.com.au/
As a bonus, it looks like a bar from the 'The Sting'.

Best of luck for the game and hope any supporters who come over enjoy Adelaide Oval as much as we do.

If you look at the last ten years of AA teams at least half played significant time forward as juniors with 2/3 of them playing reasonable time as a forward as a junior (but also as a defender). The most talented kids almost always play forward as juniors.

Don't go to the bars in the CBD before the game if you can help it, there are two great spots in North Adelaide right near the ground.

The Queens Head and the Curious Squire(a little further away), on the other side of the Oval so if your staying in the CBD its a bit longer walk, but much better pubs and well worth it.

John Ralph just reported that big boy is back but Hill won't be back till after the bye.
Big boy is a huge inclusion don't underestimate how important he is to our chances this year.
Hale is mentioned to be out too I'm ok with that as long as we don't rely on Cheney to go on Tex!!

Did you even watch that game?

I think your obvious hatred for Eddie is blinding your view of him.

Bugger about Hill but good luck to Woody if he gets a run. Great example of persistence and hard work.

Looks like Ross may stay in as we already have 2 forced changes and an out of form ruck to replace. (Possibly another change if Duryea is injured)

Really hope we add some pace on the wing by either playing Ross, Litherland or Birchall through the midfield. Ross may also take Doc's spot in the back pocket.
